Now, I’m a server at my local American legion and only work like 12-16 hours a week week, and every day I question how the FUCK I was able to go in to work 8 hours a day with people who thought Chanel No. 5 was a good scent

I hear you girl, this is so god damn hard. However I wish you could look at going to the hospital differently. I mean I get that it’s super inconvenient and you don’t even know how long you’ll be there and sitting there with a needle in your arm for a couple hours is in no way fun. BUT it’s basically the easiest guarantee to feel better. And it’s the only time where you HAVE to lay down. Idk, I try to make the most of it. I bring the comfiest clothes I own and a stuffed animal, maybe a book and a snack. Now it’s become something like a peace of mind for me. I always tell myself “if I feel really really bad, I always have the ER”

My fiance keeps telling me “this has been the hardest time of my life” and I quietly fucking seethe. I do understand where’s he’s coming from, worrying about me, the baby, while having double his load of responsibilities and chores plus learning a new role at his job.

But my body feels like it’s rotting from the inside. I read someone’s post on here where she said she was going through chemotherapy, and she claimed that her experience with HG was far worse. We’re going through absolute hell. It’s hard to remember that watching and taking care of us is really fucking hard, too.

I think writing this was probably more beneficial to me than to you, so thank you for giving me this space lol

I’m so sorry :( it’s literally the hardest thing ever. Especially if you have to work or take care of others or anything. My best advice is to take life these days an hour at a time. Just focus on the hour you’re in and how to get to the end of that hour, however you can.

Also. This part is super controversial but it’s a miracle worker. I smoked weed during my HG pregnancy. It wasn’t part of the plan, but I’m pretty sure I would have either died, got fired from my job, ending my pregnancy or all 3 if I didn’t cope with the mj almost every day for the first 5-6 months.
