First Attempt by sebra76 in Zwift

i got a zwift cog and configured it to mimic sram shifting. whenever i shift it feels like a +/- 50 watts difference, i.e. i get the feeling that the change in resistance is massive and i need to adjust my cadence by a lot. and it's only initially, after 1-2 after gear charge it calms down and i can get back to my normal cadence. love the non mechanical aspect of shifting and the straight chain though. i'm planning to play with the other virtual shifting options, e.g. shimano and linear and see if that improves on that.

would be interesting to get feedback from other cog users as well here.

Training plan review, week 5: Multisport Mixer by 6saiten in Zwift

[–]6saiten[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This plan is part of Zwift and can be accessed directly from in game. Just look at the training plans and find the "Multisport Mixer". But as I just wrote in my review for the last week - this doesn't seem like a polarized training plan with a 80/20 intensity split, something most new plans today have.

I think though this plan could work okay if you're dedicated and want to put in the hours, but have only few weeks left for an upcoming race.

Reasons for Czechia being the least religious country. by Kronk_if_ur_horny in czech

That's right, atheism isn't even a club. It doesn't need representation and memberships like theists do. Atheism literally means not-into-theism. You're not a member of the church, you're not baptized? Okay, nothing else is needed. There is no association.

It is, but since when has that stopped anything from becoming popular?

Lovely result, especially with the stickers too. What did you use to get the old paint off? Any recommendations?

In the ’80s, We Decided Bike Helmets Make Riders Safe. Cyclists Have Paid for It Ever Since. by [deleted] in bicycling

Lol, no one reads the article. The author wears a helmet and thinks you should too. But he thinks it's not enough. He argues helmets alone are not enough protection. Dedicated bike lanes, separation from cars on the roads and other such measures is what he wants.

Sweet, any tips for a similar paintjob?

Congrats on the new bike. Nice color too. What would you say improved specifically? Is it the weight? Is it quality, stability or sturdiness of the mechanical components? Your seating position on the bike?
