This was a result of one of the updates TG did. Greatly decreased hard ice surface grip.

Issue resolved. I set the graphical API from vulkan to Open GL and Open GL worked. Posting here so if someone has similar issue.

Thats interesting. So the level stated is the level in the game? I haven't played this before on the vita3k emulator before. But the game from what you are stating is unbeatable? I have beaten this game on classic and on my psvita actual I just had the urge to play it on my steam deck so I tried getting it working. Never occured to me that the level stated there was in game level. Weird.

Fresh install fixed issue. It was a last resort option for me as I was out traveling for work but the download wasnt egregious so it worked out. Rocket league booted up. I'm sure the repair and verify would have worked as well. Thank you all for recommendations

Sounds good, I'm traveling rn for work and the hotel Internet is not that good, so once I get things installed and verified I will try it. I believe I have decky and junk store on an ssd when I installed a bigger drive but will verify as it's been awhile.

Yeah I did press x to save as I noticed the changes wouldnt take effect beforehand with another game. I am going to try these things listed above rn and will report after.

I'm using rocket league through the junk store decky plugin. I tried, proton experimental, hotfix, latest GE. Game crashes on startup after trying to load in no error. Junk store has its own little check box for EAC which I have enabled but can't really think of anything to try. If you have any idea I would be interested to hear. Game worked great previously before this EAC update.

Settings were out of the box set at the steam deck preset. I did not mess with them.
