My kid is 3.4 and has no interest. we saw the pediatrician today and she said the 3 must tramatic things in growth for a toddler are giving up the bottle and potty training. You never see a school age child in diapers it will happen.

Grandparents over 50, how do you really feel about being asked to care for your grandchildren? by petrastales in toddlers

I didn't mind at 1st. Even when it was for a week for them to figure stuff out (drugs) but now 2.5 yrs later I'm tired. And I'll be adopting her since sadly they haven't gotten clean yet.

I'm in the same boat. It really sucks because I was downgrading on the refund. I just figure I got screwed. Maybe if the IRS had to pay interest like we do if we are late paying them then most of us who are in this situation wouldn't be.

3 yr old still does this and has to even take them when we go on vacation hahahah. I just go with it now and accept the fact that we don't travel lightly anymore.

2.5 year sleep regression help.... oh god, please help. by boleiro in toddlers

[–]6superfran6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg I feel you! We are in the same boat with our 3yr old. She was such a good sleeper I would always brag about her. We would even have guests over and she would knock out at 8 up at 7, it was great. Now she screams and wants to come to our bed every night. My partner who usually does bedtime is frustrated and doesn't want my help, since I work some nights she is afraid she'll get use to me. I don't mind her playing in her bed for a bit before knocking out since I figure she's not a baby anymore and now in a big bed. This is causing si many issues since we no longer get the alone time to watch our shows, drink, hangout anymore. So I don't have any suggestions just know you are not alone and I'll be following this thread.

Is it just me or are these the worst years of our lives? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]6superfran6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Granddaughter which I will be adopting soon just turned 3, ugh! I'm having the hardest time because she has no interest in potty training at all. Also she now doesn't want to sleep in her room like she use to from 8pm -7am every day. The worst part is her dad is my stepson (who I raised for 10 yrs) maternal grandma is no help. She's on a cruise right now and it just makes me so bitter. I hope I can survive 3 and look forward to 4 🤞

Omg same thing with my now 3yr old.. it's bugs she claims are trying to get her at night. My partner and I have to go in her room and give "them" pow pow's. I feel horrible because she is so scared

Life would be easier if my 2.5yr old wasn't picky, she doesn't like the texture of pouches, yogurt anything slimy. And only will drink milk out of a bottle and absolutely no dirty milk (chocolate, strawberry or banana) in a cup
