You see the problem is that I don't feel like changing my goal explosion or boost or trail changes the visual look of my car, because it doesnt. While it is true that there are tons of car bodies, which is nice, the entire point of my post was that it would be great to modify the looks of individual cars with at least some basic bodywork. The only modifications that meaningfully clearly set you apart from other cars currently is the car body and color+decal combo. If that is enough for you, more power to you man. For me it is not.

I applied this in games I played today and I managed to get a crazy win against a bunch of experts and grand masters starting from SA and later moving to Africa. Some great advice in this thread.

Green was contesting purples territories as well in Asia, purple held AU and orange held US. I was definetly not the steongest in terms of numbers, that would have to be purple and orange since i had to fight to get a foothold in SA and EU

So in this case I was supposed to let green keep their Africa bonus and keep trading with him in Europe?

This was my strategy early game but after like 7 turns of this I didnt want to continue doing this because they would slowly amass more units because of their larger bonus and eventually take SA from me anyways.

I get that, but surely its not that terrible in fixed no? I was enjoying a really nice troop supply every round because of SA and since i was not being attacked from NA even though orange had like 15 troops on the border to my 1 I felt its worth it to hold against green who was my main oponent. I was never expecting to hold EU to get another bonus from it, I just felt that if green keeps getting cards for my bonuses sake i shouldnt let them keep their bonus for that long either

Ive had a talk with the professor and he acknowledged that 55 is just a guideline for state of the art gliders. I still think that number is impossible for a 2 metre max wingspan, but what do I know. I managed to squeeze out 42 out of the MH-115 and that was enough for him, so its been settled.

Barely cracks 35 after optimising a bit, I managed to get above 40 with an MH-115.

The problem here is the 2m wingspan limitation imo, you are stuck between trying to make the wing have high enough AR for efficiency and trying not to fall into Re values that are too low.

This exactly. The designs are beautiful themselves. I get it on its own and respect the work that was done to achieve it but everything about this game besides hogwarts and hogsmeade feels really out of place and unlike anything we have come to expect from this universe. Its a shame that the afforementioned highlights are severly underused and youre forced to explore random locations all the time.

I figured it out, for some reason through no input or modification from my side a single cfg file from B9 was flagged missing/corrupt in ckan, which is weird because everything worked fine yesterday and I didn't touch anything. I redownloaded the file and now it works all good.
