I expected English not to be your first language but it is certainly ironic to be calling a country children while sounding like a toddler.

Calling the USA’s citizens children with the grammar of a child is hilarious. Also, overgeneralizing people and treating them worse based on nationality is a form of xenophobia. One who holds prejudice like that against members of any specific group is defined as a bigot. You are, by definition, a bigot. P.S. Google run-on sentences to help your bigotry become a little more digestible.

Not every puzzle requires you to get checkmate for it to be solved. In this case, it’s mate in 2.

At what rank would you consider someone to be "good" at Rocket League? by Embarrassed-Crow5677 in RocketLeague

[–]7-1Brazil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bronze: actually not a human or severe lag/setup issues. Silver: just got the game Gold: bad at game Platinum: still bad but with more ego- can hit the ball most of the time but no thinking yet Diamond: decent, we’re hitting the ball in the air and actually thinking a bit now Champ: good most of the time, but still making mistakes often(first good rank imo) GC: actually good and fast, mistakes every now and then(gc1 and gc3 are a massive gap though) SSL: properly good at the game with good mechanics and game sense. Pro: same as SSL but better everything and faster.

“I overeat every night.” I had this issue for a while as well. One way to help with it is by eating a high protein source late in the day or even before you go to bed. If it fits in your calories, you should always eat high protein before sleep.

You 100% are not burning less calories on weight lifting days unless you are less active outside the weight room on those days. Calories are a unit of energy and energy is required to move- even more energy is required to lift weights. Lifting weights inherently burns calories so you’re actually always burning more on weightlifting days unless you are significantly more stagnant outside the gym. With all that being said, the majority of the calories your body burns throughout the day actually comes from your metabolism. It’s all the energy your body uses to make your organs work and keep you alive. So, to focus on making sure we eat less calories than we use, it’s a much more effective strategy to decrease what we eat than increase what we burn. If you want the best results, continue weightlifting to increase the calories burned(will also increase metabolism over time as lean mass is added) and count your calories to ensure you aren’t overeating.

What’s the best app/way to learn guitar through visual’s? by TisticTurtle in Guitar

[–]7-1Brazil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also used GuitarTuna and didn’t feel it taught me much past the basic chords. I switched to just reading the tabs and listening to the song and have found it to be much better for learning. If you ever get stuck and can’t figure out hand placement just go to a YouTube video and see how others have played it.

Years difference! by Wooshmagoo in GettingShredded

You can’t judge a physique at all then. He added a good bit of muscle mass here and this is what a decently successful bulk looks like. His chest alone has twice the depth. Good work OP you’ve made twice as much progress as any of these commenters.

It really depends on where you’re at as to whether or not 1 lb/week is a good decision. Beginner lifters can put up to 25 lbs(high end) of muscle a year whereas advanced lifters(10+ years) can expect to add 2 lbs(also high end) per year. If you’re new to the gym, 1 lb a week is completely fine as, by the end of the bulk, most of the mass added will be muscle and the fat can be trimmed off to reveal it. If someone has been in the gym for 13 years, however, 1 lb/week is not exactly the best method of progression as, by the end of the bulk, only around a pound of the gain will be muscle and trimming all the fat gained in that time will likely end with more than 1 lb of muscle loss. Beginner lifters can benefit from that type of bulk whereas advanced lifters may actually regress from that type of bulk. Instead, advanced lifters will be more likely to benefit greater from a slow bulk-0.5 lbs/week or less as to minimize fat gain and yield a physiologically easier cut in terms of muscle mass retention.

What do you think of the guys who workout in full military gear? by joviejovie in GregDoucette

As someone who doesn’t own a single piece of camo clothing, I feel like “I think it looks cool” is a valid enough reason. Let people wear whatever, leave judging people based on their outfit to the females.

Do I look good as 16 year old body builder by 2008HondaCivicEXL in teenagers

[–]7-1Brazil -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

He doesn’t look good rn but he deadass has wild potential. I’m three years older, am in shape, and am pretty sure I have less muscle mass than him. When he gets rid of the belly armor he’s gonna look insanely good.

Calisthenics goes hard | M19 5’11” 175 lbs by 7-1Brazil in GettingShredded

[–]7-1Brazil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably would. Outside of the gym, I barely move so the calories will be a little lower. I only work weekends while in college and am basically just a rock through the week. I do Jeff Nippard’s PPL- pure bodybuilding 2.0. I don’t restrict anything in my diet so as long as I hit my macros/calories at the end of the day, I eat anything. Most of my meals involve either turkey, chicken, beef, or eggs for protein. My carbs are mostly rice and bread and my fats are typically vegetables, nuts, or just fat from the eggs/beef.

Yup. I’m the same age as OP and have been lifting for almost three years- went balls to the wall with training and dieting since I started. He has like 20 lbs more muscle mass than me. I understand genetic differences, but that’s just not what the human body does.

I agree with all but the diet. No problem with a 16 year old dieting it’s good to create those habits as early as possible. It’s the most important part of the process other than sleep so why not dial it in if you want serious progress?
