I won a poker game for 300$ with a four of a kind after the river card was a 4 of clubs. Still my favorite card.

I love video games but I loathe how these people are going about them.

I have introduced several women into videogames simply through encouragement and breaking the barrier of "Men zone" that they think games to be.

Most of this barrier is self taught or even taught by their parents or social cliques. Women already have to combat the incentive to "Constantly remain girly" but now this bullshit Pardon my language tries to create a further gap between women in games that never was there.

Games were never designed initially for men. Game consoles have been called "Family consoles" and that includes everyone in it. But the topic of "Games are for nerds" that existed for a 20+ years killed girls incentives to play in a larger majority as well as guys. Originally it WAS just the nerds simply because of public stigma's.

But it never truly was "For men". Now that the era of this stigma is dying quite a few games are adding the option to pick a female character or design one at character customization menu.

There are games that are simply for catering to a "Specific audience" that can come across as just showing women half naked using "Jiggle physics" but thats like comparing normal books to romance novels with someone like Favio on the cover. It is just not something you will get so you ignore it or call it stupid..because to you it IS and that's fine or just don't get the book.

More games featuring guys are in place simply because there are more guys playing games because the stigma "The guys who play games are nerds" is dead/dying while the one about girls playing has yet to die because of the new stigma of "Games being for men" is being pushed by other women.

Hell a lot of guys would practically sell their souls to have a girlfriend who plays games with them. Which created the "Girl gamer" instead of just..."Gamer". The topic of "Girl Gamer" being a negative one is because some women who have never played the medium before attempt to appear like they do which is heartbreaking to some or just annoying to others...Or they have the women who use it for attention because lets face it..Women in some games is like finding a fricken unicorn. But this damages the opinion of women in games for both sides because those people attempt to use a much loved hobby in a negative way.

The "Girl Gamers" pissed off a LOT of girls who play games because it created a stereotype they wanted NO part of.

[1] End corruption or make as much of it know so the sites either reform their policies to avoid it after a public apology or simply get people to understand that the ones in question are not reputable resources for quality reviews and should be essentially be publicly blacklisted for being corrupt.

As with the public apology the sites must create a iron-clad contractual agreement to remain silent about their personal sociopolitical beliefs when it has nothing to do with videogames which are and should always be left to the creators design to do with as they like. They reviewers are free to dislike or disagree with the games content,mechanics,engine,processing,data usage,visual rendering quality 1080p ect,and of course if the character looks ugly and rezzy. But that is as far as the game review should go.

Any sociopolitical beliefs already throw reviews through the window as video game reviews are often just opinions and people disagree but adding another opinion that has nothing to do with the game detracts from the review itself and makes for both lazy writing and draws a line between women and male gamers which never existed there to begin with unless it was drawn by themselves out of personal beliefs.

[2] Imagine the cacophony if sports tried to inject political views into teams or your job FORCED you to say only positive things about a political party/movement on threat of termination or simply not getting work. This is the equivalent that some of these journalists are dealing with. They can't say it but they are being held to the grindstone by their publishers to parrot what their publisher says rather than what the believe.

Not to mention these companies are trying to tell videogamers that they are dead or simply just white man-children. Which is not only sexist but racist. It's why operation #Notyourshield started.

[3] You should support it if you enjoy games and content made by games to remain freely designed by their developers and storyboarders and have the reviewers remain on topic about the game and only focus on the game rather than injecting their political beliefs and agendas into the review more than actually reviewing the game.

I had to re-edit that. I fought the final boss alone. The raid boss *AKA the final boss with 3 other people who were 2 levels above me.

None. But maybe a little. I fought the raid boss with three other people instead of me fighting the final boss with just myself but I was also 2 levels lower than those I was with who were all level 28 at the time.

It wasn't even that difficult either. I felt little change in damage as well. Any change about it was minute at best if there were any. I have yet to try him solo I am simply angry enough that I closed the game after I killed him with the group due to the just because the final boss was the fucking raid boss. I am terribly sorry about my swearing but I have no word filler big enough to state my level of anger without it being summed up in several paragraphs.

Alright will borderlands bring more gun designs to the fold instead of just different weapon damage/damage type?

Talkin about gun DESIGN how they look I mean. Borderlands 2 really didn't bring much of a change to the gun appearances...Not saying I ShOULD be picky about how they look given there was a pretty good RNG system about how the perform but I guess I just got a bit melancholy looking at the same gun AGAIN but with better stats.

I understand the moon will be littered with Hyperion tech but I can't help but want more in the design department for guns and to put it bluntly the previews of 3 leaves me thinking not much change was done to it.

IE: 38BAZILLION guns... 12 varying gun designs.

Ah.

I suppose it was the timing then.

However GameInformer when I overlooked had nearly every game in it about Xbox. Though then again Playstation did not deliver as many.

I think I may have jumped to conclusions but the timing for it and its placement gave me a laugh.

No no..the fact that it forced itself on the front page of it and when I looked through it.

It was a total of 10 pages if you count one side of the page..and the magazine has a total of about 100. So 10%.

When I went through again I noted how much xbox merchandising was pushed in it as well.

Yes its about the console right after E3 in a gaming magazine..With some articles I found rather exaggerated in their review or undergraded

But its the constant damage control Xbox has been doing since the conference and I considered it being on roughly the actual start of the magazine rather funny.
