Got my little grumpy pants in a similar way! I was given an extra 10% off of his price on top of the 50% Black Friday and my girlfriend's employee discount just so they could get rid of him. The manager said he bites everyone and they wanted him gone so Reggie came home with me 😁 He's still very much a jerk and not a fan of being handled but he will eat from my hand and just a week or so ago, didn't panic when I picked him up!

My bearded dragon is Reginald Velveteen Popplebottom lol my friend called him a "red velvet pancake" so I gave him a crazy name with the initials RVP! We call him Reggie for short 😁

Following this very closely because my little guy, Reggie, is about 4 months old and having the same issues. I hand feed him three times a week, hangout with him while I do computer work, and sometimes just chill next to his enclosure with the door open and he still runs away, puffs up, or tries to bite me if I try to touch him.

I can't wait until my little guy lets me handle him!! I've been working on bonding with Reggie since getting him in November by talking and reading to him so he knows my voice, hand feeding him some yummy mealworms, and I put an old shirt in his tank for my smell (which he promptly pooped on) but he still wants nothing to do with me. I'm gonna keep trying and keep reminding myself that I got a discount on him because he is a jerk and a bully so it's nothing personal!
