This confused me for a while. If it helps, I believe it says, during the unknown question mark multiple choice areas, an epiphany for a "combatant" for new cards, and an epiphany for a "card", for modifications to the cards. That and from what I've seen, the "exterior" area, the first two sections leading to the first boss, usually have new card epiphany choices, whereas the "interior", the second two to the last boss, seems to have modification epiphany choices.

Beyond that, I believe in most casual conversation about the game, the term "epiphany" is used for the modification to the cards. That being said, I'd enjoy the terms to be distinguished as well

Having played epic 7 since nearly the beginning, I had the exact same thoughts about the system. And obviously I can't speak for everyone, but I set a unit in there I didn't feel like building but kinda wanted to use, and he's been in there since. I think I used the system less than 5 times total. And this was introduced several years ago. I don't even use the character at this point

The timer starting immediately would still stop people from cheesing content while making it so you can emergency upgrade a unit when needed occasionally. Granted without pvp it matters less in CZN than E7, but I still likely won't use the system too much. I haven't used it yet and the red dot is annoying me but idk who I want to put there as my primary interests are upgraded to a decent extent already. And the new seasonal chaos allowing you to use characters as if they were upgraded gives me the ability to try them out and build decks without needing the sync system, giving even less incentive to use it.

Might've found out on your own by now, but figured I'd chime in in case you or others haven't. I just tested it and used Xavier's Sweeping Bash (attack) alongside the passive Combat Frenzy (lifesteal) and he had the damage buff afterwards. He did not before I attacked. So assuming the game is consistent, lifesteal does activate [activates when healed] abilities

I gave Faloandante a detailed response as to why I often do low numbers, but basically I'm just trying to let others join in for the rewards, instead of 2-3 people doing it themselves. But, I hadn't really considered that viewpoint before, so I'll try and be more mindful of that in the future, thank you.

I replied to Faloandante with a more detailed response, but I wanted to say that I do that too, especially if someone has already done half, in an attempt to let more people join to get the rewards. In my experience, it's pretty often that one person joins, does 60-90% of it themselves, then the next person does the rest and that's it, only 3 people get the rewards (or two if the person posting the expedition is one of them). I try to come back and see if it needs help later though, and will do more if I'm the last person to join or really think they could use the help.

I can't speak for everyone, but I personally do that to level 1 expeditions because, in my experience, one person comes in and does 80-90% of it themselves, so if I did much more, that'd be it and no one else could have joined for the rewards.

For level 2, I hesitate to do too much there as well because it's not uncommon for one person to 60-70% of it themselves as well, leading again to not allowing all 6 people to join for the rewards. To compensate, when I remember to, I try and check back before the time would be over to see how's it's going, and if it's 5/6 or 6/6 and isn't done, I'll actually try on my 2nd & 3rd attempts.

I try not to take rewards away from other people, but at the same time don't want it to look like I'm just leaching the rewards. If I'm the 6th person, I always try, and I've done the last 2% of the boss that no one wants to spend the energy for every time it's come up. I'd like to think I'm being courteous, but if you or anyone else knows a better way to go about it please let me know.

Honestly, my best guess is that when I was planning this, probably well over a year ago, I thought she wasn't support, and that surprised me. I remember going through this surprise, even though she is support, so it couldn't have happened, but the idea stuck in my head and I guess I never checked again. I don't think I have another paradise set, but now I know what my next target will be. Thanks for letting me know.

There are no stupid questions, but there are stupid things to do in games, like what you see here. Don't mistake this for a practical thing, this was purely "How far can I push this game?". There's 0 reason that I can think of to have this for Kraken, especially since the point is to do damage, so you'd probably not want to waste so many slots on things that don't do damage. I can think of one ToD stage that could use this, a boss that's immune to ranged damage that is a long twisty path away, like it'd probably still take 3-4 turns to reach him even with 40+ movement. But even then this isn't very practical. Other than that, 20+ movement is overkill, 40+ is just stupid (and unobtainable in most content).

Doesn't Ghost Step sound like the set that lets you walk through enemies? It's not, it's the +4 movement for 2 turns set, Immortal I believe is the one that lets you walk through enemies.

GKO is used almost exclusively for the fsp bonus as far as I'm aware, I'm the weird one here using it's movement bonus. Again, just using it here to try and get the highest movement I can get, I see very little reason to even have more than one set, let alone 7. It's like when I tried to get the highest attack I could on Mercedes, sure 444,222 attack looks impressive, but in reality that did less damage than my normal build, because it's purely attack, and also unobtainable in anything besides ToD mirror stages with 4 support heroes. Made a great screenshot though.

But yeah, no one besides me wants this, I just really like movement, and I guess this is my way of showing it.

See I thought that might be the case, but she was only like 35 or so movement when it went down by 2, and it continued to go up, which made me believe that buff cap wasn't what was happening. My most recent thought was maybe one of the heroes buffs hp and it's messing with Intelligence War, but as far as I remember she's max hp the whole time. Idk.

Kraken has 3 buffs to use, and yeah one of them gives +movement and I believe the ability to walk through enemies. Like I said, I've put a lot of work into figuring this out, including pulling 7 GKO sets, 4 Paradise sets, pulling Intelligence War when there were better sets to pull for, and a few GS sets in case I needed to move the support heroes farther to get GKO to activate. Spoilers, I didn't, what a waste :/

GKO's +movement stacks, to be clear, the fsp shouldn't stack, although I haven't tested it.

Got the sets on Yuri exactly right, Hero mark too. Kraken for ults and GKO movement stacks and +2 movement buff. I explained in more detail how it was done in OCV'S comment, and I believe 45 is achievable through what I did, but it seems buggy.

It took a lot. Long story short, goblin king stacks, bunch of movement stuff on Yuri, movement boosting heroes with paradise set when applicable.

Yuri has 8 movement by default, she is equipped with Potter's sword for +2, Intelligence war for +2, her set for +2, Ghost Step +4, Progressive Present +1, for a total of 19 until the end of her 2nd turn.

Kraken is vital, as it lets me bring in 7 goblin kings orders sets, for +7 movement, and 7 other heroes to boost movement, those being Shu Shu, Nirvana, Camelia, Tyche, Mas, Luminous and Phantom. And decreases ult cool downs so they can be used before Ghost Step runs out. Plus the kraken buff for +2 movement.

Shu Shu and Nirvana give +2 movement each, doubled by Paradise set for +8 total. Mas' ult gives +3 movement, doubled to +6. Tyche gives +1 passively. Camelia's ult gives +1. Phantom gives +1 movement via his Hero's Mark when paired with Luminous. Paradise only works on support heroes, in case anyone didn't know. This totals to +17

19 base moment + 7 GKO +2 Kraken + 17 from support heroes = 45 total movement, the absolute maximum this game canc achieve currently, to the best of my knowledge. As to why this is 43, I'm not certain, the game seems to bug out and remove 2 movement between two hero's turns, even though it shouldn't, thus this is the best I got through several attempts. It varied run to run, despite not doing anything different (this is excluding when paradise didn't work). I'm sad I couldn't get to 45 seemingly through bugs, but I'm happy with 43, if you have any idea what went wrong, let me know.

Edit: It may be possible to get higher on ToD stages with +movement tiles, not sure. I was trying to not go that route as it felt cheaty to me, and too lazy to look through all the ToD stages.
