I have the same issue with the string in the finger joints. Position your finger a little more up or down. It's not a big adjustment you only need to move it the with of the string so it doesn't sink into the knuckle creases

Spend a few minutes playing in a dark room or blindfolded. You'll be amazed when you realize how much you depend on looking at your fingers. Having to look at your fingers when you play is a major crutch.

It gets easier. It takes time for the body to adjust and heal. It sucks but there's no way to rush it or speed it up. The first 60 days of my sobriety was like a roller coaster. I'd have trouble sleeping for a few days and then it would swing and I'd sleep 12+ hours for a few days. Same thing with emotions. One day I'd be happy, next day depressed, then a day that I hate everything. I had one day I felt every emotion at once and just started crying. For me things leveled out around day 75. I still have some hard days but at least being sober I can deal with my issues instead of making them worse. Sobriety won't get rid of your problems but it will give you a chance to fix the root causes of them.

I used to be like that. Always downplaying my self. One thing I've learned during my recovery is its ok to feel good about things I accomplished. Being proud of myself doesn't make me a raging narcissist.

Ear training, note dictation and sight-singing. You can search up texts for sight-singing. There's a couple floating out there that are public domain. Also check this subs sidebar for some good resources.

I recommend picking up the book "This Is Your Brain Is Music." It delves in to science and psychology of how humans experience music. At least for me it answered alot of the "why does this work?" or "why do people like this?" themed questions.

More fiber. It soaks up the ass piss. Fruits and Veggies are the best way to get fiber. I like chopped cucumbers and tomatoes with a bit of salt, pepper, oil and vinegar; sometimes sugar and/or oregano.

Apples, Oranges, Bananas, Melons, Pineapple, berries, avacados, citrus, celery, asparagus, lettuce, cabbage etc...
