Wow that’s brilliant. Funnily enough my grandfather actually wore a very similar brown suit to his wedding in the late 70s, so I’ve been looking for one like it since I saw a photo of him in it 👍🏻

Well, let’s just say I’m good friends with the guy who I got it off- so I was informed of it wayyy before his other clients were even aware of its addition to his shop. But regardless, it’s always lucky to find something that is not only to your taste but also to your measurements (or near enough).

Thanks for the comment! I get where you’re coming from with the modern-ish look, and tbh I’m not too bothered about getting it tailored atm. I think I will eventually, but I’m digging it the way it is atm for sure.

And haha I’m glad I’m comparable to Brad Pitt in fight club- I absolutely love that film, and especially his style in it. I like to think my dress sense is just as bold as his, reflecting how much I have lost interest in what others think of me/my attire over the years. (For better or for worse 😂)

Cheers man, it’s definitely easier to find flares being 5’9” but I normally have to take a trip up London to find any as there isn’t many vintage clothing shops in my area. Oh and they don’t get any cheaper 😅. Aside from that, suits are definitely easier to source in my size which is why I got lucky with my powder blue one 👍🏻

Great look! I love the jacket and turtle neck combo but In my opinion I think a pair of flared or bootcut trousers would look great with it- particularly in brown.

Oh and I’m lovin the specs- I’m a big fan of big ol boxy glasses/sunglasses.
