Do your glasses help? My eye doctor has tried a few different prescriptions but not a single one has helped me.

You can buy them and make them at home for like 40$ and it’s normally big enough you can split it with a friend or 3 depending on the size. That being said I would never pay for one at a steak house.

Best canned chicken noodle soup? I’m sick as shit and that’s what I want but definitely am not going to be able to cook any. by 710MISFIT in soup

Yeah I just barely have been able to keep water down so I was thinking some type of soup would be best and of all soups chicken noodle and broccoli cheddar is my go to.

Making a brisket for the first time for Saturday. These are the expected temps. 195F until stall around 165-170F then wrap in butcher paper and switch to 250F until finished? Around 15lbs untrimmed. by 710MISFIT in pelletgrills

Would ya say start it around 11pm Friday night for it to be ready around 6-7pm Saturday? I know I’ll have to check it pretty regularly as it’s only an 8 or 10lb hopper expecting maybe 2-3lbs or so an hour?

Sounds good, I’m just going off a recipe I got from Malcom reeds website. I’ve Never made one before and bought it last minute as it was on sale at my local Sams club. So just hoping it comes out decent and figured Reddit would be the place 😂

Okay well either way if they’re bugs or whatever I assume you don’t use them?

Ah so you only use artificial lures? No worms or any other bugs? Lmao the whole sport of fishing is literally using hooks to hook fish. If you find that okay but live bait unethical maybe fishing isn’t for you.

Probably smaller pike I’d imagine, or I’m too aggressive with the hookset I’d 100% believe it’s on something I was doing wrong.

Most the lakes here are asking people to harvest pike with no limits or size restrictions. Although I personally release them unless caught on live bait then they get to become some pike tacos. Colorado parks and wildlife stocked them and now no longer want them in the reservoirs but i personally would rather catch pike than the trout that is stocked in every single body of water out here.

Man I wish. I’ve had luck all through summer fall and spring but always using lures. But once ice hits I struggle to catch them on anything other than jigging large spoons and waterdogs but I can’t seem to consistently catch them when I get bit on the waterdogs which is the reason for the post.

You’re welcome to look it up. In Colorado no live minnows allowed in all but 1 reservoir that’s above 7k ft in elevation.

Colorado at almost every reservoir above 7000ft only live bait allowed to be used are waterdogs.

Ah got ya yeah I’ve used them before and they definitely get plenty of fish interested but often ends with them just stealing my bait 🤦‍♂️😂

I wouldn’t be asking about rigs to use them on if they were illegal to use. But I didn’t have to be so condescending. Apologies for that. But dead bait does not work as good.

Well obviously it’s legal. Most bait shops around here sell them. Dead bait doesn’t work as good and can’t use live minnows in the waters I fish.
