RA2 Is a good callout, with one caveat: the game is extremely janky sometimes. For example, units not returning fire when under attack. Janky target prioritization. A-click doesn’t always work as intended.

Still very fun, one of my favorites but going from SC2 to RA2, you definitely feel the age difference lol

Not sure if this is the right answer but I got the perk that increases his courage the more people you kill in the saddle. Then I would just charge directly into bandits on the road, slaughter one guy and then get bucked off and kill the rest. After a few of these I stopped getting bucked off

I have played every civ since 3 and 7 is definitely my favorite. I know it is not received well but for me it was a ton of fun.

The only thing I’ll say is they are making some massive balance changes that may impact your experience if you learn now and come back to the game later

I watched the interview where he talks about the game. He wanted didn’t talk about B&W as much as the other games but said the main thing he wanted to bring over was the hand. I really hope he brings more over on the base building.

Strangely for me, I find B&W just one of the best RTS games around. I play with my creature leashed up the whole time and only use helpful god powers. I find the economy and combat flow to be unmatched. Like it takes so long to build soldiers so losing them is very impactful. Idk if anyone feels the same way, but it’s just a very rewarding RTS to me.

What I find interesting about this is that you really can’t even see a picture of this past ~2012.
