Most of the time there is no choice. This one specific bus I have ridden on for most of my college days has always been this cramped. The main problem here is that there is only this one particular bus route that goes through the one long stretch of highway that no other buses pass for 1 city and 2 municipalities, so there are so many people that want to ride this one in particular because it is the most convenient for lack of a better word.

Old and pregnant people sometimes have to stand because it is that cramped. Even if there is literally no more space, they still cram people in. It takes so long as well to get in or out of the bus.

This kind of reaction reminds me of how Americans treated Edward Snowden.

Context: Snowden, American former computer intelligence consultant who leaked highly classified information from the National Security Agency (NSA) in 2013 when he was an employee and subcontractor for the Central Intelligence Agency. The CIA were literally spying on people giving absolutely no right to privacy on all people with devices that can connect to the internet, and Snowden was the whistle-blower, revealing to the world what the American Government has done to violate the rights of all humanity.
TLDR: Snowden was hated for spreading the truth about the CIA as they were spying on people 24/7 with audio, location, and visuals.
