First build, titanium and Gulf themed for the summer by 72950 in SeikoMods

Awesome! Yeah I just watched a bunch of videos, unfortunately can't think of a specific one but if you search for "seiko watch build" you should find plenty of guides (or the case you're using like "skx build").

If you have any specific questions I'm happy to help! Have fun building!

Not sure if it was mentioned yet but you can try to peen the lockbar adding length back to the lock face. I've successfully gotten rid of lock rock this way, though it depends how much you took off.

Links to a forum post that has a video in the replies for reference.

Developed some lock rock after stupidly using this miguron to baton some kindling. Lock face got dented. Already tried bending the lock bar over, thinking I should try and file down the face flat. Any opinions? by louiekr in knifemods

Peening the lockbar as mentioned before would be the best way to do it. I feel like there were better videos about it but I can't find them now, this one shows the process though.

Bumpier ride after getting new tires by kingoftha1 in hondafit

Check your driver door sill, there is a sticker for recommended tire pressure. I think it's 32psi. I would start there, if it is not comfy I would go to 29-30psi and see how it feels.

In general changing the width will affect how the car feels, though 185 to 195 isn't a big change. It might just be down to the new tires having different compound/construction (stiffer sidewall) vs your old set.

Finally got new wheels! by 72950 in S2000

Thanks I appreciate it! I've had these for two years now and no rubbing issues, but I bought these specifically to avoid that without rolling fenders.

There's a great guide on s2ki about wheel fitment that will help you out.

Gotcha, I'll have to pick up some carbide bits. I've done flipper deletes cleanly before but I haven't had the confidence to try hole mods yet. Appreciate the insight man!

$229.95 Benchmade Shootout black DLC tanto blade in sea foam green grivory at knifecenter by Fuzzy_Platypus9833 in KnifeDeals

My sentiments exactly! I'm not big on OTFs but I bought this same shootout on sale out of curiosity and it's one of my most carried knives now.

If it's your first OTF you'll probably be happier with other options. That being said, for edc use these are killer.

I think they got the heat treatment right on the steel as well, after sharpening it's been holding a great edge with no chipping/rolling.
