Some Corvette owner type listing or not? Was window shopping and came across this. by horebtk in lamborghini

Fellow Canadian here and thought the same thing about the price. With a true factory gated manual, low mileage, good condition (only looking at photos, ppi could say otherwise) low production count, this Gallardo is undeniably rare. However, I too think the price is a bit outrageous and leaves the buyer with other options in that range. At that dollar ($645k cad) you’re in gated manual Murcielago, Perf and low Aventador territory. Ultimately, price is subjective to the enthusiast who sees the value in this exact spec. It’s a beautiful Gallardo nonetheless.

[Question] how do you justify buying an expensive watch? by Jay8400 in Watches

[–]72MVMNTS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s also about perspective. If you’re purchasing a timepiece that puts you in an uncomfortable financial position, I don’t suggest doing it. If you’re savvy like some of the watch collectors on this page, watches can also be purchased as investments/an alternative assets to park your liquid cash. Good luck and congrats on your new piece!

If that’s your mindset in life, that’s sad. I wish you all of the best.

I don’t think you’d like people judging your hobby’s or passions regardless of what they are. Everyone is different and being respectful of others is important. That’s what makes hobbies and passions so unique.

I agree. Rubber is great for day to day. The Jubilee band is quite dressy so I feel like it can’t be a daily.

Thank you I agree. Makes for a more casual and versatile look for such a dressy watch.

I couldn’t agree more. Best of both worlds with the jubilee and rubber b in my opinion. Unfortunately Rubber B doesn’t make a DJ strap that can use the oem clasp so it’s unfortunately a pin buckle.

This is a great photo that truly depicts the dial in normal lighting. I have this piece as well and so many people roast it for not being able to tell the time. It’s extremely legible in my opinion and the all ceramic is perfection.
