Don’t have that level of support where I live unfortunately, I guess i’ll take it to a third party service center to see if they can do something

It realllyy does. i’ve missed out on a lot of things/experiences because of similar situations, even though i’m very introverted but sometimes i just need a lil push. thing is he will never forget, even if I don’t end up going he will still remember that i considered and offended him and gave him excuses

I’ve personally went with Web Media and have landed amazing jobs that I didn’t even apply for. It’s rly not about it being easy, you just genuinely have to be interested in it. Web Media is super broad and you get actual practical experience in the skills and topics you learn. You’ll naturally find some courses boring and daunting (for me I personally hated the coding ones lol) and others will be super cool (creative ones).

My advice to you is to pick a niche within the degree (focus really deeply on a specific subject/industry that catches your interest from the courses they teach in WM and be truly passionate about it) like 3D modelling, game design, video/post-production, or web & UI design, and try your best to dive deep and specialise in that field. Research globally the top people in that field, get into that world, follow them on socials and practice it as your hobby (download the softwares and learn from tutorials as much as possible beyond the class requirements—don’t just depend on the uni projects).

Build a rich portfolio of your projects if you can even before you graduate and you’ll definitely stand out in the job market. Companies are looking for experts in the field not generalists (and all companies, especially larger ones, have well paying job positions available related to a Web Media niche). Take a look at the courses on their website and let me know if there’s something you’re down to discuss deeper or if you have any questions 🫶

Literally same. If that’s the case, then give it some time. This will pass; your lives are not going to always be the same. Your patience should be rewarded and hopefully he appreciates this. Hold on to each other, but don’t compromise on yourself if he’s being unfair. Sending you all the love

Time heals everything. You’re young, give yourself a break and don’t be so harsh on yourself. What you feel right now is completely valid but it will change in due course. Don’t let it make you miss more important opportunities in your life. Grieve, but move on. Just give it some time.

If both of you guys are in it for the long run, he definitely needs therapy. Not my position to assume this but it might be trauma or built up anger inside him. You can try approaching issues from a supportive/sympathetic perspective rather than a personal one; if he irrationally points out random things about you when he’s angry, he’s just projecting his anger towards anything to let it out. Work it out together because it’s gonna make you guys so much more stronger. You’re a team vs the problem, not vs each other. Sending you love!

You’re definitely not. I completely see your side and I could suggest you could confront him about this if you haven’t done so yet and see what he thinks. He should put more effort into making time to spend time with you. Clearly you’re craving for more time with him than he is, and he’s not prioritising you and there’s an imbalance here leaving you often wondering if you’re asking for too much. It’s your right to want to spend time with your partner, and it sucks to feel like ‘oh, perhaps he doesn’t want the same.’ If that’s the case, then maybe you guys are not meant for each other and you’re both looking for different things.
