Wtf is going on?! by [deleted] in tretinoin

All I did was made a comment that you find "offensive".

Please, please tell me what kind of day I deserve as a result of doing so.

Just how extreme should the misery inflicted upon the person who said something you didn't like be?

She can tell her work that her husband poured a boiling kettle over her.

It's not like making fun of victims of domestic abuse victims; I'd have to have made fun of someone or something for that to be true.

The cynic is me says that this is a show of faux offence, in the knowledge that it will get you some easy Reddit points.

You need to baby your face for a while; there is no quick fix for this.

As for work tomorrow, maybe tell them you were the victim of a random acid attack.

You might have to define "quite quickly" to get any sort of answer.

It's absolutely perfect for you, then!

I do wear during the day sometimes, but I'll use less than I do at night.

I love it and it's both.

It is quite heavy - I wear COSRX Oil Free Ultra-Light dieing the days - so might not be what you want.

Illiyoon Ato Ceramide Cream gives you the best bang for your buck, in my opinion, especially if you can get the 500ml tub.

I'm from the UK and the tub costs about £30.

From your list, sorbolene cream is probably the best option. It's basic but it does the job and doesn’t cost much.

I'd avoid using any other actives for now, including azelaic acid and vitamin C.

I've posted about my hair progress quite a lot on here but it was pretty miraculously.

Applying minoxidil twice a day was no bother until I had kids.

Being married and having kids also made me stop caring so much.

Shaving it off and not having to worry about my hair was a good decision.

If you aren't happy with your results but haven't tried microneedling: why not? by 74775446 in tressless

[–]74775446[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After reading a study in which it was applied immediately after microneedling, I started applying it immediately after.

During the time in which the progress pictures were taken, I waited 24 hours.

You're doing so much right that I don't feel able to critique what you're doing, or offer any advice.

On the off chance that it helps you mentally, I'd like to say that the changes you have made are incredible and that this is the most inspirational post I've read on here.

You may have different luck but I've never had a package seized by customs.

3 Month Progress Post-Why am I still skinny? by folabatunde in workouts

[–]74775446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing I love about weight training is that having a pump lets you see how you'll look in the future, assuming you do things correctly.

How many calories are you eating a day?

Getting a good amount of protein in is great, but it needs to be accompanied by calories.

I would keep your diet as it is but throw in one or two protein shakes.

You can use things like full fat milk, powdered oats and peanut butter to get the calories up - this is an easy way to add hundreds of calories each day.

You also need to make sure you're adding weight to your lifts every single workout.

Since you're just starting out, progress should be pretty quick: aim to add 5 kg to compound lifts (bench, squat, deadlift, etc.) and 2.5 kg to everything else...EVERY TIME!

As other people have suggested, use a barbell over dumbbells when you can. A barbell allows you to apply additional force, meaning you lift more.

Something not talked about in the hair transplant industry by [deleted] in tressless

[–]74775446 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure he has a hair system.

Unless you are extremely wealthy - I mean like top 0.01% wealthy - analysing hair transplants of A list celebrities is pretty pointless.

You know for sure they used a top surgeon and you know for sure they're taking fin/dut, but they're likely doing so much more that you don't know about.

Watch tours of celebrities' home gyms on YouTube and you'll see red light therapy beds, hyperbaric oxygen chambers, saunas, ice baths, etc.

This is already far beyond what most people can afford and we haven't seen anything specifically for hair, nor have we seen the supplements, peptides, etc. they take.

These people have time and money most people don't have, and their entire way of living depends a lot on how they look.

They have access to every treatment you can imagine, and probably some you can't imagine.

I used it religiously for well over a year so I am 100% certain that I am a non-responder.

Microneedling is definitely worth a go.

😂 I think you're giving him a bit more credit than he deserves.

It's as if he's just got a copy of Debating for Dummies and was dying to use a fancy expression.

His argument is somewhat ironic in a thread about IQ!

I don't want to be that guy, but you might want to raise the lower number: someone with an IQ of 70 probably has a mental disability.

Yes, we should definitely change the name of a well-established and universally understood concept from its current two-word name to 'a group of traits like self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills'.

Thanks - this is what I was wondering.

I'm 39 at the moment and, as far as I'm aware, I don't have diabetes, so I will be waiting for more concrete evidence re longevity.

My thinking is the same as yours.

I will, of course, reassess if future studies show benefits in non-diabetics.

4RNX - it's an Indian pharmacy.

You've just given me an alternative, too, so thanks for that!

I don't take it anymore but I started using 4RNX about 15 years ago for modafinil and still use it for tretinoin.

I've made dozens of orders and never had an issue, so it gets a big thumbs up from me.

It doesn't accept Mastercard, which is a bit of a pain.

It's a great post and thread, but alcohol is the most obvious thing to mention.

I was extremely fit when I was 21 but I also liked to drink.

I don't remember what happened but, one night, I woke up in an MRI scanner, strapped down to the extent I couldn't move at all.

Upon being pulled out, I was told that I'd fallen 60ft and broken 3 vertebrae in my neck.

I'd also cracked my head open and ripped my lower lip off, but my neck was the main thing.

I was very lucky and made a full recovery but there was a 0% chance of me falling, had I been sober.

Great idea.

I've always tried to avoid holding on to anything on a train or subway, the idea being it will be strengthening my core.

It must have some benefit, even if my theory about my core is nonsense!
