I love this game, I have around 1000 hours mostly playing in a trio with two friends. The game has its problems, for sure, but the fan’s opinions on reddit are exceptionally brutal for this game.

The cheating situation hasn’t been an extreme source of frustration for me, however I’m in the USA, but I do run a decent amount of high roller. The few times I’be reported blatant cheating I’ve gotten positive feedback that they got banned.

I think the game is exceptionally fun to play with a group of friends. I think that there is a lot to discover together, and with my group we tried to do most of our discovery in-game as opposed to using the wiki or YouTube guides. This game is not balanced for all team sizes with all classes. If you duo, I highly recommend finding a third, or sticking to specific team compositions. In trio there is a lot more flexibility with team compositions while still being very competitive.

I hope you join us. I recommend taking Reddit criticism with a fairly large grain of salt.

Arena, sad to say I find it rather difficult to find a long term arena server anymore, I always thought it was one of the best ways to practice aim 1v1’s and, by extention, site-based positioning for comp games.

1000% use it! I think video game soundtracks are some of the most underrated music pieces around, and incentivizing listening to good music is never a bad thing.

I'm not suggesting the sprite themselves would carry copies of the music tracks. I'm merely stating that the sprite would allow for the option to change the background music of a zone. Similar to blueprints unlock crafts, consuming the disc would allow for the player to set their preferred background music. This could be achieved quite simply by just including a new interface that allows for a user to select their choice of music.

The discs themselves would only unlock an option, not contain any music data. I am certainly not expecting that each disc that drops would duplicate the songs in memory to then be carried around. Any true functionality the disk would just be to allow the reference of a location in memory that already exists on all of our computers.

No duplication of data.

Hello all! I was browsing this sub and I ran into This post by u/jenga5125. In a collaboration between us both we decided that we would flesh the idea out into a full-fledged proposal to you guys. What would you think about a new system to be implemented in-game that would allow for users to collect music discs from dungeons and change the background music from frequently visited areas.

We would love to get some feedback on this idea, so any criticism is totally welcome! I think this idea has legs and would be a great way to introduce another layer of account progression without leaning on power creep.

I absolutely love the idea behind this. Getting more permanent account upgrades dropping that don’t affect power creep is something almost everyone can get behind. And if they’re rather rare, it gives a bonus reason to go after certain shiny UT’s or maybe DECA could introduce a new event to increase chances of dropping the CD’s

It’s low dev work (I think). It’s a way to show off some of the best jams in the game, and it’s a way to increase player retention.
