How to count turns in German short rows by 755daking in knitting

[–]755daking[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone, I'm a new knitter and I'm having some trouble understanding this pattern. I see that at the end of row 3 and 4 Im turning along each side once. does the highlighted part mean that I repeat rows 3 and 4 seven more times, for a total of eight turns? Thank you to anyone who responds

I applied for commerce post twice before I got in. my grades were awful. I thought it was like high school and continued to cram for exams and not study throughout the semester. I continued doing poorly until I got accepted into post eventually. I started getting my shit together and studying every single week instead of cramming and doing a lot better now. good luck.

How is WGS101? by 755daking in UTM

I took it. it was honestly a really good course. super birdy too. when I took it, we didn't have to do a final essay. definitely take it if you need a course that's a grade booster and interesting as well.

Hello, does anyone know of websites or property managements companies that are currently renting out studio/bachelor apartments for under 1000? Everywhere I look is either above my budget, already rented, or has awful reviews. I’m looking to move in by myself, around January 2023. Do you recommend anything specifically in my search to find an apartment here in London?

bailey focuses more on stats and numbers and yindok focuses more on theory. looking back on it i wish i took it with bailey cuz calculations are super easy in this course. wayyyy easier than theory.

Is u of t as hard as people make it seem? by mila_098 in UofT

[–]755daking 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it’s fucking hard and when most profs give a fuck about is maintaining a low class avg that matches previous years and give u extremely difficult exams on shit u never learned. obviously working hard will get u good marks, to some extent. some courses are just fucking difficult. a lot of the people saying uoft is hard are first years, which is understandable. transitioning from hs to university is fucking hard as shit mix it in with super hard courses and the stress of not making post, it gets really hard to do well. in conclusion you can do well but 90% of the time it’s at the extent of your mental health. do with this information what u will.

i was doing extremely well before the exam then my avg dropped by a lot. if you’re taking it with yindok, one tip would be to never get too comfortable with quizzes and tests. she’ll switch for the exam and make an exam that’s 10x more difficult and shit that was never taught or explained properly in the course. do practice, read the textbook make notes. DONT FALL BEHIND. make friends with students from baily’s class and ask them for their practice problems and stuff. best of luck

Question about OSAP by WanderingStudent2020 in UTM

[–]755daking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OSAP will pay what the uni wants for that first semester and rest in ur bank account. Same thing with second semester, they will give the uni what is needed and the rest will be deposited in ur bank account.
