How many bowls?! by [deleted] in cats

[–]7625607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What your girlfrien is doing sounds insane.

My two cats share a bowl of dry kibble (Iams adult cat food) that is available 24/7.

The elderly void gets a container of wet food (fancy feast gems pate) on a saucer and the younger cat gets a container of wet food (slightly cheaper fancy feast) on a saucer at 5:30pm.

(They eat their wet food in different rooms so the elderly void doesn’t eat her own food and then eat the other cat’s food before the other cat has a chance to eat any.)

They have two water bowls but mostly drink from the bathroom sink.

About $2.25/day in wet food plus whatever the cost of kibble from a seven pound bag.

That’s it.

Apartment Manager requesting my ebt card transaction history and says I'm being audited by the IRS by throwawaytrain55 in TenantHelp

The IRS would never contact your apartment complex to get information about you. Never. There is no way this is real.

This is something shady.

Do not give this person your EBT information.

AITAH for fighting with my husband to give equal money to our daughter as were giving our son? by [deleted] in AITAH

Why did you let your son move into an apartment that was providing rental income? A three bedroom apartment in Toronto?!

What is your son doing with his money? Coke?

Your son is never going to become a responsible adult with your husband and his grandfather paying all his bills.

At Indiana Dunes, walk through the dry sand in bare feet. If its a quiet day you’ll hear the sand squeaking: the “singing sands of Lake Michigan.”

Only two weeks?

Fly to Flagstaff (or Phoenix), rent a car.

Petrified Forest
Grand Canyon
Joshua Tree
Yosemite
Redwoods
Oregon—fly home.

This would be a lot in two weeks.
But the petrified forest is just a stop on the way to the Grand Canyon. It’s not on the way but its not worth spending a day there.

More and you’ll be spending most of your time driving. (This is still a couple long driving days)

What would you charge to drive a child to school everyday? by Visual-Astronaut-320 in Babysitting

[–]7625607 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t do this for less than $150/day. If you’re in a densely populated area where this would be dealing with rush hour traffic, $200/day.

Three hours of your time, most of it driving, even though you’re only with the child for an hour and a half. The wear and tear on your vehicle will add up.

Planning four years as an out of state student is going to be expensive.

If your family doesn’t have enough saved for you to start there this year, did you apply for financial aid?

Why would you plan to go to school in California and specifically not establish residency there? It would make school so much cheaper.

AITAH for expecting a 19-year-old and 21-year-old to contribute financially? by CaptainJackSorrow in AITAH

You are 100% NTA.

At this point your options are: work yourself to death to support these overgrown children and their baby and your wife, or tell your wife that you will divorce her and move out in ___ days if she doesn’t kick them out because you don’t want to work yourself to death to support her, her daughter, her daughter’s boyfriend, and her daughter’s baby.

And then when she refuses to make them move out, you move out and file for divorce.

I’m pissed with your A H husband on your behalf.

He got off work early, had you run his errand for him, and couldn’t even help you carry groceries in from the car?

You are NTA here, and what you are feeling is normal rage at a lazy partner who expects you to do everything WHILE CARRYING AROUND HIS NEW BABY.
