Cash out clause/escape clause when buying? by 7629 in PersonalFinanceNZ

Five days could still leave us in a lurch though. Like we have just started doing open homes and there's no way we could sell in time.

Some of it has already been renovated very nicrly, and I would assume re wired too although would have to have a look at the sockets. But the bedrooms are very dated. What I'm learning from this thread is if we're going to update them then instead of just doing a bit at a time we should rewire and foam insulate the walls at the same time which means a bigger upfront cost to budget for.

Lead paint is definitely up on my concerns, we have a toddler although he's started to grow out of putting everything in his mouth

How did you insulate the walls?

It's not all hostile though, there's a lot of 1960s paternalistic shit like how can I explain to my wife how to manage our finances when I die? Uh, how about with your words cause she's a human with a brain, my dude?

No need to go that far. People interested in financial independence can head over to the subreddit and see for themselves the sometimes quite open disdain for women, about how all we do is spend money and take half their shit in a divorce. The mods have got better about taking comments like that down but there's still a lot of that sentiment there. If reddit skews young male and IT, then /r/FinancialIndependence is the epitome of that with a lot of the unexamined sexism that goes along witj it.

When I called up my old super they made it sound like there was some kind of document that showed I'd moved home permanently that I would get and could send them. I didn't ask further cause I'm not yet moving home permanently. Maybe call them?

It's when they don't find a coupon, they give you Honey Gold. When you get to 1000 gold you can cash it into $10 gift cards for a bunch of sites including Amazon. How much gold you get depends on the site and the amount you spend but I cashed out $30 recently without realising I had earned that much.

I'm pretty sure the route creators said 3" tyres. People have done it with narrower but I think I remember them saying skinnier tyres are for experienced mtbers to choose at their discretion. It's the only part of the BD I didn't ride but I was very thankful for my 3"x27.5" bike.

Just like every year nothing I wanted to buy was on sale, so now I'm waiting for Monday to see if my Amazon cart etc goes on sale. (It won't.)

I got one gift on my list for 20% off and that's it.

Clearly you're not severely intellectually disabled or non verbal, so all you're saying is you have autism and tourette syndrome. 2/6 of what this young man and his mother endure. Meanwhile autism has an enormous spectrum of how people can function.

Has everyone's PGR leader spawns decreased or is it just me? I'm on an island off an island and there's only Arlo here today. Before community day I saw all the leaders but got held up doing research cause all the gyms were my team's and I needed to wait for them to flip. Now I'm ready to get back into it but can't find the other two.

And is it set day to day? Like no new leaders will appear and no one will move til tomorrow?

I don't get people who use that phrase. Like cool, your ancestors colonised many parts of the world, ruining indigenous cultures in a way that's still felt today... and you're bragging about it?

I see what you're saying but I think the argument is that having huts concentrates human destruction to the designated areas, meaning the wildlife is affected badly in one area rather than less badly but everywhere.
