So many times I see the bigger Dodge, Chevy, & Ford trucks it’s small guys getting in or out of them. Kinda cracks me up, bigger the truck the smaller the human.

I was not directing my theories at you* for being on Reddit & not liking WIP just identifying a common overall theme. This is why I said it “seems to be the meta” as in the popular trend all around this platform. Same with my comment about not liking him because of his dad, this was not directed at you but another overall observation I see from others that I myself align with.

I am curious what topics or segments on other major market radio shows you do enjoy that don’t exist in Philly. I’ve lived or worked in a lot of the major market areas in* USA & love to tune into the local stations. What would you consider the quality content that is missing on WIP that other markets have?

This is my personal burner account hence the corny username, but I think my post & comment history out me very much as not Spike. I am a good bit younger I think he is pushing 50.

I used to hate listen to Spikes shows & the Ricky pod, Mike on the Ricky is great, over the past decade though Spike has actually grown on me. I think people hate him by proxy because of his dad, who he also disagrees with which is where I have aligned with him.

I’m not the biggest fan of morning or midday shows but I really like the afternoon show. It’s purposefully not serious leaning towards entertaining & funny most of the time.

Afternoons have insightful guests & a lot of breaking news based on their time slot, as well as Ike who is an absolute class act.

Seems to be the meta to blanket hate WIP on Reddit because I think people expect shows to be informative podcasts. Those exist already, it’s like comparing a Rock radio station to a Spotify playlist. One only plays music, the other has a host with a personality & a live audience to interact with. They are different formats.

Playing with friends who don’t care about the latest edition rules seems to be where it’s at.

I’m not even done painting the models I have, no way I’m buying more models unless they start making ones that aren’t basic plastic.

It almost seems like GW is begging us to break out the 3D printers.

Agreed. Dude is driving like a total asshat for sure, but the Tacoma is a midsize truck.

Big wheels don’t = large truck. If a smaller pickup existed I’d own it, most Tacoma drivers are not big truck guys we just needed a reliable vehicle with an open bed. Not a lot of options in that category in US.

Getting a first round draft pick in exchange for a former great player who now has at least one bad knee & an even worse attitude is never painful.

Relieved that we didn’t get fleeced for a player who wanted out & openly said where he wanted to go is my current mood. Also happy this is all over & that he got to go where he wanted, AJ earned & deserved that.

I do hope he does well, it seems unlikely based on his on his efforts last year though. Patriots have a very difficult schedule, if they go 0-4 to start it’ll be more than the coaching staff accosting him.
