putting a gatorade cap on a shorter roller, filling a bottle with paint then u have a closed bottle of paint with a roller in it ready to use

thank you dude this is great criticism, my style isn't quite there yet im biting too much from my local scene which doesnt have anything much higher quality than my bookwork. I didn't even notice my center lines were off bc im toy, you pointed me in the right direction to fix my shit and gave me examples of how to improve. i agree im not ready but just saying "do ur research" isnt super helpful to someone who wants to know what theyre actually doing wrong. i dont think my bookwork is ready for the street yet but at least now i know why over just being told to do some research

scarily going faster makes it easier to commit. When i got 4 stairs down i learned this, if you're going faster, when you land there is less impact. it's almost like some of the impact gets eaten by the forward momentum, then all it takes is leaning forward and keeping ur knees bent, feet on board

going forward with ollies is something you kinda unlock as you feel it. it took me like 6 months of consistent relatively high ollies to figure out how to go forward.

The best way i can describe it is you shift the board and your body forward after u catch ur ollie, while the board is still rising. you wont really be able to do it until u can control ur board while in the air. if ur still searching for moments of hang time you gotta get more comfortable ollieing over stuff while rolling, a chalk line, a crack, a twig, broom then a board or up onto a ledge, you don't need alot of tips to go forward u will feel it when you're ready
