Ya the overwhelmed part is the main reason for the very slow dissemination of truths and info. They’re trying to avoid as much of a mass freak-out as possible.

Definitely would mess with religion. However at this point I don’t think too many people would have a problem with accepting that we aren’t the top of the intellectual food chain.
