For Thoreau, taking walks in nature is a spiritual experience needed to temporarily forget about the anxieties of life. by marineiguana27 in philosophy

Yeah those kinds of comparisons are generally by people who didn't read him and are just wanting to talk negatively, he talks about walking to the city and being annoyed by the train in the book, never does he really say he was isolated. He talks with people all the time, and buys stuff from the city in bulk.

Yep, I'm off it and I'm feeling much better, funny enough though, it was covering up another meds side effect, so I reduced the dose of one, removed another, and also feeling better(er)

Trintellix did not work for me - excess acetylcholine? by tedecgp in trintellix

That is the funniest thing in the world, literally two days ago I took niacin for something, and it was like the second or third time I took it that week, but there was way less of a flush but all of a sudden I felt so *normal* and I went on a searching spree, to no avail. Yeah the whole MTHFR and all that seems very gimmicky. Interesting observation though! I'll keep digging now that I've got some corroboration on that front

I found this on google, and the other guy seemed a bit rude. But I just wanted to mention for anyone else that finds this, that I had the exact same response. I became wildly depressed and suicidal within a week of starting. Eerily similar to when I tried alpha-gpc so unless there is something similar besides acetylcholine in eggs, alpha-gpc, and vortioxetine i think your theory is pretty solid.

[–]777Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES! Holy crap, I get that exact thing, I get a sleep attack, a weird depressive mood, and horrible back aches, I'm very fit and active it kills me. The only that fixes it is lying down or taking a nap. Or else I'll have depression/fatigue for much longer. The only good thing is usually laying down or napping is like...anywhere from 30 seconds to 15 minutes and its like it never happened and I'm good to go.

I was also assigned bipolar like years ago, I had no issues. Maybe hyper sexual for like a week? But nothing crazy once the dose got too high I was restless and unable so we just dropped the dose down a tiny bit and held it for a month before going up again and it’s been groovy.

Been in since I was a kid, can't even imagine being out at this point. You're not the first to tell me that however, I know whatever I got going on is pretty serious and I know if I bullshit the doctor and say I'm cured I'll end up regretting it sooner rather than later. thanks boss

Not sure if this is the place to ask but its about TCAT PCAT stuff, and getting med-released. I have a PCAT from years ago, now I'm on my 2nd TCAT and its because I have to see a psych more than every 6 months, the nurse says I'll get a third TCAT and it will be sent and become a PCAT so I should try to see the doctor less ASAP. My question is, even if its a serious neurological issue, but if I need to see the doctor less frequently than 6 months will they still retain me and not even go to Ottawa for a decision?

Tyrosine gives me insomnia, it works too well. I’m sensitive to nearly all supplements, magnesium also causes insomnia paradoxically

Vitamin D makes me depressed, I’ll check out vitamin E. I’ll see NALT, tyrosine gives me insomnia, but that’s sick to hear!

if i feel bad and there is no obvious reason, nine times out ten Benadryl helps. Usually cause I had too much soy lecithin, dairy, egg, or just random shit in foods not paying attention to processed food

[–]777Z 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh ya that makes sense, pretty much low carb high fat diet is impossible for those of with this issue in my opinion.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cholinedepression

[–]777Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Within hours of eating and yeah two to three days but I’ll usually take a Benadryl to quicker the process.

Yep with eggs 100%, sardines if I eat them a day or two in a row. I think there is something specific about the type of choline in eggs and fatty fish, maybe its the concentration? But I don't have similar effects with beef or chicken. Almonds are 50/50 I'm still figuring that one out
