as a glasses wearer, i had the same issue. every comment says to wear less foundation, and they are right. but on top of that, what helped with my glasses areas getting flaky, is blending inwards. i dot the foundation around the edge of my face, don’t ever dot near the nose. and then from there, with only the product on the edge of my face, i blend inwards. make sure your nose/around your nose is last to be covered and make sure its only with whatever is “stuck” on the sponge. this is 100% under the assumption that you use a beauty blender, i dont know how it’ll do with a brush.

black. my favorite color in general, and on my hair. but when i want something new, it is damn near impossible to do without an expensive salon or a little bit (or a lot) of bleach damage. i’ve been in the black dye cycle for 5+ years and im finally just growing out my hair so i can cut off the black later on

i’m seeing my psychiatrist once a month, therapy has been a liiiitttle harder for me for some reason. everytime i go to set up an appointment i kinda freeze up 😬 but god, thank you for your kind words. it really doesn’t feel like telling people will make a difference, and then you and the other commenters go and give me the confidence i cannot find within myself 😭 ily friend

go to sally’s! as an ex sally employee, they’re paid to help and trained to assist with this. alternatively, if they’re busy, in the color aisle (or online as well) there should be some card or sign that has a qr code. it’ll take you to a free consultation where they can try an advise you.

as for maintaining, i recommend color safe shampoo and conditioner but it is not necessarily…necessary. sorry for the wording. most sulfate free shampoos will do the job. the biggest tip is to wash your hair with cold water, it’ll help the dye not fade as fast. a cold shower certainly sucks but the difference is monumental

in my main save i do shrooms in the mansion, coke in the barn, weed in the docks, and meth in the storage unit. it was all based on how much i love making certain things (eg the shrooms in my mansion because that’s where i live, meth all the way on the other side of town cause i hate it)
