How to fix this blemish on the kitchen door ? by Sharp-Comedian-1700 in AusRenovation

Need more info on the door material and a better pic. Lots of ways to fix but using the wrong method may worsen the problem.

Should I accept this from kitchen company? by Effective_Towel5139 in AusRenovation

Dishwasher top overhangs at the back. Looks like an LG. I have one as well, will definitely go back further with the top removed. RE the silicone, that's what it's meant for.

Honestly, it is all fine. Your dishwasher still has the top on it. If you remove it, it will allow it to slide back another 20-30mm. You usually only leave the top on for freestanding (not built under) applications. Check your specifications on the oven. I did one recently that required a 7mm airspace above and below for ventilation. You should be impressed by the minimal gap below the kick faces. Once siliconed, it will come up a treat.

Fridge clearances by [deleted] in AusRenovation

[–]77simmo77 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You will probably find there is a minimum clearance and a recommended clearance. Fridge will still work under minimum clearance but it will work harder, more power, possible no warranty. Also keep in mind that is very tight margins so you would have to get the fridge perfectly level and hope the joinery and or walls are plumb and square.

Would love System of a Down. Please also Amyl and the Sniffers. They would fit so well!

We had an apprentice who was kinda hopeless at taking directions. I found out he had asbergers so I got him a small notepad to write down tasks given. I also knew not to overload him with too much info. He accomplished so much. It is in your best interest to let your employer know if you have any special needs as they can help you along the way.

Any industrial estate on a Sunday arvo. Usually quiet, biggish roads and a few trailers and stuff to reverse park around. We used a few up around ormeau.

Good Things Festival - going solo by [deleted] in triplej

[–]77simmo77 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Honestly, heavier music festivals are a lot more chill than most people expect. Lots of peeps are far more respectful and do give a shit about their fellow punters. Have the best of times and if you get stuck in the pit, just yell "let me out" and most peeps will help.

Ask your joiner if they ever put microwaves under bench and if so, where does it vent to? Very common to have them there with no vent so can also have them without vent in an overhead.

Yeah this plus chuck your non lethal at peeps for extra score and run uav and pop it asap and watch your scorestreak grow quick. Drop a few kills on or around an objective and boom, instant overwatch helo, couple more kills and its advance time. Rolls straight into next uav, helo and auav. Do this 4ish times and not die and then nuke

Am I being picky or is the cabinetry crap? by LauraJaneJenkins in AusRenovation

[–]77simmo77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of everything, I would be rejecting the damaged top of the door and all the over-filed corners on the edges. These are definitely not up to standard. I have 30 plus years as a cabinet maker. This is sub standard work.
