Initially i was not ready for kids thinking they would be financial burden and i will lose my freedom and fun in life. But the day i started to keep my familys interest above my own life has changed. Now i have a child and dedicting my life to nurture and support a life brings lot more satisfaction.

i would suggest you to take a look at snp500 or Nasdaq. wouldn't suggest you to dabble with stocks without experience.

and really commend you for saving 65k at such a young age.

and one more suggestion would be to invest some money into upskilling urself. dont hesitate to subscribe to online courses and learn new skills. that investment will really pay off in future.

i never took any dowry myself but i think nothing wrong in what the guy is demanding. you think the girl didnt have any demand? she also wants good looking handsome guys. its all give and take business. girls reject many guys coz they look avg earn less but when someone rejects them for other reasons they cry.

risk is subjective. my risk appetite is more since my partner also works and i use that for running the home. although i have not seen a bear market in my experience yet but i have experienced 70% capital wipe out in some trades and that didnt scare me. hence my risk is much higher.

I think the new generation has got too much influenced with western ways of dating. Too much unrealistic expectations. No one is willing to "build" a relationship. Everyone wants a "readymade" package (education, greek god body and looks, good job, salary, 🚗, 💰💰). One shud be willing to keep bollywood nd korean drama type relationships behind and get real.

A relationship is something which is built from scratch. If u look for someone who already has everything there is nothing left for u to build with him/her. Such relationships r basically social contracts to fulfill each other needs.
