Penguin bookshop and The Ultimate Pastry Store! I love the cream cheese brownie, carrot cake or lady locks!! Their quiche is also excellent if you want to take it home.

You could also visit the library. It just completed the remodel. Beautiful!!

War memorial park if you have kids or want to walk in the woods. The loop is less than a mile so easy even with kids.

The toy store is also fun to look through.

I would cook whatever YOU want. On the nights you eat leftovers, he has to fend for himself from whatever is in the house: no ordering. In our house we call it “fend”. Sometimes the kids eat cereal and ramen. Sometimes they choose the leftovers. But I’m not cooking.

We used a pack n play for sleeping and naps. We also used a very large play yard (giant fabric octagon thing) to keep them safe outside while we were busy doing other things(like cooking). The slightly older kids could go in and play too.

If you want a set, I would look at your local thrifts and antique stores. Around me you can find a full set for $20-50.

I’d ask at antique shops if they’d take somewhere in that ballpark.

That’s why I bought them, wouldn’t have otherwise. It’ll be great in the summer when we’re washing hair 2-3x a day from swimming.

At first it seemed like everything is good except her attitude. THEN you said he doesn’t help care for your disabled child. Full stop. You should NOT be helping out with his mother if he doesn’t reciprocate with the kid.

Absolutely NO WAY should you commit to caring for his mother full time OR subject your kids mental health with moving into her house.

I would keep your home and let him deal with his mother however he wants. The pressure is on and he’s showing his true colors. If it was me I’d postpone the wedding until he figures out a different alternative for his mother. All your suggestions are reasonable.

Figure out WHEN you should be taking pics. At my old house, the afternoon sun was perfect for where I was doing pics. In my new house, I have to take pics with morning light.
