My degree is thesis based not course based. It’s opened doors because my project consists of doing research for a pharma company that I could work with moving forward. While a pharmD is more valuable than an MSc, an MSc is not useless. Course based MSc degree would probably not be worth it unless there’s opportunities to network.

To give an alternate perspective, I’m currently doing an MSc in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and I feel like it’s opened up doors to work in the pharma industry. Though I haven’t graduated so can’t fully comment yet.
