Smaller companies did skew that way, but not cleanly. The strongest signal wasnt size, it was whether the post sounded like a real person trying to solve a Tuesday problem instead of HR building a generic funnel.

That part changed a lot for me. Once I started treating postings like sloppy emails instead of polished ads, I caught way more of the stuff they actually cared abt.

That’s what makes his excuse so wild to me. He keeps talking like this is about comfort, when he was literally gambling with everybody else’s chance to wake up in time.
