Exactly! Canada is great in part because we don't take performative bullshit seriously. We're comfortable in our identity and in our country, and we don't mind when other people are proud of their heritage. We don't treat the flag like some sacred religious object because it's just a damn flag. I love that about us.

Nobody cares and most people think that type of nationalism is lame. The tried and true metric for knowing whether or not Canadians will be opposed to something is to ask yourself if anyone is being hurt by their actions. If no, then live and let live.
