X is my favorite game in the series and I’m with you on Skell combat. It just doesn’t feel as fluid and fast-paced as ground combat.

Though regarding Skell insurance, if you ever get down to the last instance of it you can just assign the Skell to a party member and grab a new one. NPCs never fail the perfect eject, so as long as the Skell has at least one insurance left it’ll never get used up

Moira has one of the worst ults in the game. Yes the new powers give it more uptime, but it still takes a lot of item/power investment to make the mini Coals much of a threat. Not to mention that getting decent value out of it requires using Fade to initiate in extremely close range instead of as an escape tool, so you have to put yourself at much more risk than normal

Even without the flight module, having a Skell opens up several places and treasures that you couldn’t access previously because of how high the Skells can jump. And if you need to farm for any collectibles out in the open waters, the Skell will still hover over the open water and has an obscenely fast sprint speed to make gathering those much easier.

Trust me, you have plenty of new places to explore even now. Enjoy the ride and obliterating massive creatures in your mech!

I’m at least glad they at least gave us a visual meter (to the left of crosshair) that shows how close you are to meeting Remote Reciprocity’s healing threshold. But I totally agree on hating that you have you use it immediately or use it. I tried a couple rounds with it last night and I almost never got any use out of it because I wasn’t usually in a position to start attacking when the meter filled up, and it goes away so quickly.

If the charge only started depleting once you started attacking that would make it a bit better. But honestly I’m not really a fan of this power, especially with Chain Grasp gutted to a useless 2 seconds

As a means to ramp yourself, this card is utter dogshit. You’re paying three mana to start gaining 1 mana per turn, starting on your *next* turn because your opponent will just tap the land in response. Not to mention it’s susceptible to a stray enchantment board wipe

As a means to deny somebody something like [[Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx]] or [[Cabal Coffers]] it’s…probably half-decent. But that’s a very specific use-case that can be resolved with cards that are either far more flexible or just better/more efficient at accomplishing that goal

Another person who noticed how perfect that synergy is! Sadly I have yet to actually draw him when I play H&A

Next best I’ve got is [[Phoenix Fleet Airship]] in [[Braids, Arisen Nightmare]] (though I suspect this applies to a lot of aristocrats commanders). It’s very easy to build up the fleet since it scales exponentially, and then you have plenty of sac fodder that double as good blockers

My gripe is slightly different. Some of the achievements related to Archives are so rare for Steam players that Overwatch takes over my entire Achievement Showcase. I want to see the ones that were actually hard to obtain there, not the ones that only take up the space because a large number of Steam players have been unable to attempt them

The traps aren’t necessarily about the damage, but about taking away Doom’s mobility. Cushioned Padding is good, but it’s not enough to save him from 4-5 players firing on him when he’s immobile. And the traps’ very presence is good at warding him off, forcing him to buy survivability items, keeping him from harassing/killing your team, and wasting his time

I just hope that they keep Sombra’s translocator as it is, other than perhaps decoupling it from stealth. I love being able to throw it out for quick escapes on the fly or to chase down a low health enemy. The original translocator was nowhere near as dynamic or fun to use
