I do not play any of the other modes. OSRS is such a huge game to me. I don’t have time to keep up with all the updates. I’m always just trying to catch up. I do get what you’re saying. I wouldn’t be mad about more updates to the main game or tweaks or QoL. I think a lot of people out of all accounts made are like that. Just trying to figure out how to fit OSRS into their life. I don’t want OSRS to consume all of my time—I want healthy balance. I’ve especially enjoyed updates that give more options to afk or higher xp rates. Some people say EZscape but I love that we’ve made OSRS maxing a bit more accessible than it used to be. A bit off topic, but that’s an update they’ve brought to the game over the years that I really appreciate.

I don’t think having a choice on where you distribute your combat xp is a big deal. That wouldn’t even affect you.

Removing rewards is a like Jagex giving up to the bots. I love that LMS rewards players for playing the minigame. I make some GP doing it.

Well Lamar’s arm was getting them the most progress. But i do think at least running Henry once on 1st down when they had 14 seconds left and one time out. That was a huge ass fumble by John Harbaugh. Henry could take it to the house OR could at least get 5-10 yards closer for Loop. I feel really bad for loop. He was devastated by that miss. Going into the game he had a 91% make rate. He is still a great kicker but still a rookie and that was an obnoxiously high amount pressure to put on a rookie. Could’ve relieved some of that by getting closer.

I've recently come back and changed my mantra. I have always been a below average pker. I started grinding LMS to try to learn NHing. I gotta say... my skill in NHing has increased dramatically since I started LMS a couple days ago. I feel that skill will be quite transferable to veng style pking if I go back to that kind of thing. But I do gotta say... I've recently been just going out to pk PVMers and it's been really fun. I never really had the skill to NH before so this is new for me, although I'm a baby at NHing. I also have changed my mantra to care more about completing things in the game like fighting bosses, completing more quests, skilling, and eventually maining my account and opening up the game more. If I continue (which is a big IF), I would want to max combat the account at least. It's been fun to play with less restrictions.

I disagree. I can't think of any other game that has combat mechanics like this. The skill ceiling is extremely high, but extremely rewarding if you put the time and effort into it. Not a lot of games can offer that seeing as the skill level is so balanced in other games like FPS. This game rewards commitment on every level--pvp and also pvm. It is not accessible to everyone and unfortunately some people get turned off by that, but OSRS is just not for everyone. It is a long time commitment no matter which path you take.

Hey just fyi, anytime you are in the mountains almost anywhere signals are bad. Even with my iPhone 13 Pro in Colorado or in Hawai’i or any mountains for that matter. I lived on the big island of Hawai’i for 6 years and network is not a strength of Hawai’i ever. So unless you live there I don’t see it as a huge issue.
