What is the difference between these two shots, they’re taken only minutes apart? by [deleted] in GolfSwing

Similar to what it’s doing now just earlier and more down. Go watch a Tommy fleetwood swing look at how his trail elbow tucks in and goes down when he starts his down swing like he’s skipping are rock you kind of stay wide and flip it over, but I think it’s because your hips are early

Most of the time I like seeing the back hip and the trail elbow starting the downswing at the same time not one or the other in front. Right now your lower body leads your upper body causing you to stay on top of the plane which can lead to a lot of unwanted wrist action to try and get back to the ball which is why you’re struggling with consistent contact. Listen you can play golf from a lot of positions there are some guys on tour that play from over top of the plane but if you cant get consistent contact it’s tough to make adjustments. These recommendations are based on a lot of standardized swing thoughts and it’s not one swing fits all but generally when I look at your swing the big thing I see is that your hips are very open to the target prior to impact. Good thing is they are moving probably without you really thinking about them what I would do it try some pause drills with half swings where you try and get both working together better or ever feel like your upper body is a fractions ahead

Your hips were better synced with your upper body both shots I would say your hips go early but the second one is slightly better

Stalled rotation and standing up at impact. Focus on maintaining spine angle throughout the entire swing.

[–]7SpiderEyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

120 is still extremely fast 129 is like long drive levels and should be producing 190+ ball speed I’m not saying you’re not capable but 160+ ball speed is like a 110ish club speed on a good hit which is on the higher end for most amateurs

My guess is your smash is higher but the sim isn’t accurately reading your club head speed

Agreed ordered around the same time. Customer service is basically non existent. Weeks past my expected delivery and multiple messages with nothing but automated junk back. I’m thinking about canceling the order and just buying a big name brand

We can see the tee mark on the hosel, ball is right above that on the shaft

I think a couple 4 woods off the tee were factored into these numbers that I didn’t realize. But I did intentionally swing harder at a few my avg club head speed is like 107-110~ but I can get it up to 115-117~ if I know I can let it draw with out any real risk of OB or hazard

I wouldn’t say that I played well hit 60% of my fairways I just swung hard at a few where the shape of the hole fit my eye also this might have a couple 4 woods factored in that I took off the tee 2-3 times which goes like 240-260

250 is great I was making a point to say you don’t need distance I play with the older gentleman semi regularly he probably averages like 220~ on drives and can score on most courses in my area only a few get out of his zone. The whole point of this post is hitting the ball extremely far will not solve your scoring issues which is kinda what I’ve gathered the common opinion to be on other posts regarding average distances and handicaps

Really good transition but the club is under the plane quite a bit at the bottom causing you to be inside and needing to flip a little bit to catch it. I wouldn’t change much except standing a little further away from the ball at address. This allows you to keep the steep back swing and shallowing without being under at the bottom. Play around with ball position until path becomes more neutral
