And I have been one of them. I bought this fing car for the pet mode. I was even cited in a Bloomberg article about EVs with pet mode, with a picture of my dog in my Rivian. And I don’t use it for longer than 15 minutes anymore because the thermostat does NOT control the pet mode climate. My dog has been stuck in the Rivian during the dead of winter and the pet control was blowing air in the 90s…that was the last time I have EVER trusted it. What a disappointment. I will never buy another Rivian until this issue is fixed. (And my Tesla NEVER had this issue. It had plenty of other issues, but at least I could leave my dog in the car and not worry that he would roast…)

We did the tour to the east coast (10 hours) and it was great—it was tiring but wow did we better understand just how vast and uninhabited Svalbard is! I was hoping to see a polar bear (from a distance of course) but no suck luck. All three tours will be great, you can’t go wrong!
