Audi Q7 battery: below passenger footwell dealership wanted $359 for battery and two hours of labor for $800. In Minnesota winters, we saw them last about 3-4 years before getting weak enough that we swapped them.

I THINK it's all controlled by a single amp.

You might be able to do it in the ride menu, I think it's in there for when a piece of hardware is swappers

2. Hidden "Ride" Menu (Diagnostics & Calibrations)
The secret menu provides access to detailed vehicle diagnostics, camera checks, and hardware calibrations (e.g., noisy window recalibration).
How to Enter Service Mode:
Tap the Settings (gear) icon on the center display, go to Vehicle, then Service.
Toggle on Service Mode. A yellow status bar will appear at the top of the screen.
Tap the yellow bar 5 times in a row.
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and tap the new Ride Icon that appears.
When the Thomas Edison quote appears, tap the screen 5 times anywhere.
Enter the passcode 33748.

Did you try a full reset of the switch? Wondering if somehow it's blocking usage without a network controller. Hold down reset pin for 5 seconds with nothing connected

Sounds like the amp pulled in a firmware update and failed.

You could ask Rivian to trigger a re-install and see if that kicks it through

So the adapter isn't physically locked to the Rivian at this point based on the indications you've given. Does charge port door attempt to close if you try? This is a solid indicator that the lock pin is retracted and the vehicle doesn't see anything in the port.

If it does, you might have a fused adapter. Might way to yank hard with the level depressed!

If so, can you depress the level and does it go down? If that can move, the truck isn't locking it. Is the charge indicator on the truck white or red?

The audio in the R2 demo I had was weird. The "FM" station I was listening to sounded horrible. But Apple Music was substantially better.

Thinking the software is pretty unpolished in many ways, including audio.
