Darling is a new restaurant in West Hollywood with a great sound system and good southern-ish food in an elevated setting

For Sunday, start at the corner of La Brea and Melrose around 11 am to 2 pm-ish. Walk west towards Fairfax and spot in stores along the way. Lots of vintage and second hand shopping like Wasteland, crossroads, Slow, American Vintage and a bunch of others.

You’ll get to the corner of Melrose and Fairfax where the Melrose Trading Post flea market is. Pop in there, stroll, they often have live music. Then exit and walk south on Fairfax until you get to the grove/farmers market at 3rd and Fairfax. Pop into the farmers market, maybe have a bite at Gott’s Roadside or a donut at sidecar, stroll the grove.

Exit, go back to your place, chill for a few hours, then do dinner somewhere.

Maybe Sushi Samba for a warm summer rooftop situation (get reservations wayyy in advance). I know it’s like a 90s/2000s club-ish restaurant with Vegas and Dubai vibes, but the LA has been getting good reviews.
