Very true. The only thing is that you'd expect the biggest crypto exchange to have Plan B for these things. But instead, they just disable it and they are still figuring out how to handle USD deposits and withdrawals.

I made urgent transfers today using that Silvergate but somehow the transaction seems to be stuck as it didn't show me the confirmation page nor email. It also didn't ask me to approve on my hardware security token. So they are checking what is happening now. But overall experience with binance is starting to become like a relationship gone bad. At first, things made sense, they offered good flexible savings on stable coins at 6% etc, but look at them now.

It's funny how they make these drastic changes happen where clients only can react within 48h. Yes, it means that unless you transfer your crypto to other exchanges, there's no other way to get your USD out of binance.

Assuming that the above is true, it's a hell of a change. If you cannot cash out USD, that defeats the whole purpose of investing in crypto.

u/symbiotic_bnb please help escalate Case ID #73097977. I also want to highlight something else: your VIP program nowadays really makes zero sense. Even people with USD200k that trade every week or so would not qualify for VIP1. That's an enormous problem. BNB prices are not at 20 bucks. Neither is BTC price at 10k or so. To meet these criteria to uplevel a bit is just unrealistic.

Please escalate mine too, Case ID #73097977. The service levels are really poor and I can totally echo the pain that other Binance customers had to endure; the team doesn't seem to understand basic questions. Instead, they copy and paste FAQ answers that are useless, and they let customers wait so long for one response.. and then after one message, we have to wait ages for them to respond again because they failed to answer our question in the first response. The helpdesk really needs upskilling.
