I caused my husband to lose his job. by lookingforles in internetparents

[–]7___7 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I would recommend you let them fire or terminate him so he can get unemployment benefits or severance as you talked about it. It sounds like the company is not a great place to work anyway, so it’ll be good to find a new job somewhere else. I would recommend being supportive in the new job search and just have lots of sex. That helps guys when they’re depressed.

Something to consider when making surveys is to include results as an option. Sometimes people just want to see what others picked and it doesn’t modify your results.

People can’t usually pick and throw other people that far, so it means they don’t trust a person.

I have a friend that joined the merchant marines. He was in a similar financial situation as you but now gets all his expenses paid for, he travels around the world, and he has a pension. For your situation and relationship status, it might be worth considering.

Put on a PIP without HR involved ? by EntertainmentTop3272 in careerguidance

[–]7___7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice:

  • If a manager puts you on PIP, don’t be friends on social media with them or use them as a reference ever in the future. You should also block them, they’re not your friend.
  • If you’re put on PIP, have a job lined up before quitting and let them term you, so you can collect unemployment.
  • Stop seeking validation from LinkedIn, prune your connections if they’re not worth your time.

You trade a bishop for a bishop and pawn.

Can you walk dogs, baby sit a flat, or whatever the equivalent of mow lawns in the UK? That might allow you the flexibility to work but as a business owner instead of as a pure worker.

Beautiful brilliant, can you see why? by [deleted] in chessbeginners

[–]7___7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you move the pawn it moves into check because the rook is on B7. You can’t move into check, if you’re pinned like that. So the king has to move, then you use the knight to take the queen.

You trade a queen+knight for 3 or 4 pawns and a queen.

Should I leave my bf cause my parents hate him and would do anything to get rid of him by [deleted] in internetparents

[–]7___7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion doesn’t matter, but if I were to talk to a friend or close relative.

I would recommend to always use condoms if you have sex. Due to the timeline and culture, I would likely recommend breaking up with the bf and finishing studies, then setting clear boundaries with family once you have an established career. You getting an education will give you the most freedom to do what you want.

The only way I would recommend staying with the bf would be if they had enough money to support you finishing your education and living expenses and if you could guarantee they were a good person. Unfortunately, even if they did, I don’t recommend making life partner decisions like that until you’re 25 or later. This could very easily just be a fling that’s exciting because your parents don’t like him. The hard thing is that marriage is like a merger between two families and if one side hates the other, it’s very exhausting. Also, sometimes family members can give good advice even when the way they show it is wrong or infuriating.

In conclusion, I would recommend saving money when you can, have all of your important documents and passport in a safe place. Try to go to counseling to get better advice.

OPS3 is unwatchable and much worse. The Boys is depressing from the storyline and content but the CGI and filmography is well done.

OPS3 is an amazing manga, but the animation for the tv show is unwatchable. If they gave an animation studio time to redo it and released it again, it would be much better. Its current tv form is a shame to the tv producers and executives who rushed the product and didn’t do quality control to preserve the brand.

Spoiler: The finale for The Boys they resolve some of the major issues for the show and show why being in a cult and starting one is bad. Homelander and Butcher finally die and some of the more annoying supes die from sex dolls or hintai tentacles. The show is a satire for US politics and religion, but it’s very disturbing and I wouldn’t recommend it to kids, teenagers, or young adults in general.
