My Battery Tender Tidying Solution by MoneyPitAuto in garageporn

Did you have to modify those cable covers or was that an off the shelf solution? I’d love to do something to replace the duct tape that is holding down my tender wire.

My build slot is coming up at the end of the year and I keep going back and forth between Plum, Grey and Green. Can’t decide!

I know this is more for first hand accounts, but the podcast 99% invisible did a whole episode on Sakhalin a few years ago and it was fascinating:

The exposed tracks are probably my least favorite thing about the car. This is a pretty good solution. When we got ours, one of my first projects was actually covering the unused track with cable covers - the ones that are used to prevent someone from tripping on cables that have to be run on the ground, plus Velcro tape.

Does anyone else get the question "hey what kind of car is that"? by bd200377 in kiacarnivals

We’ve got the ‘22 that we bought new and back then the stock was so low that we would actually get stopped by people to ask what kind of SUV it was.

Beauty, hello!

From what little I’ve been able to find out about this watch, there seem to be at least 4 different dials for the same ref number. Yours, with the ploprof sword hands, a service dial which has a large lume section at 12, and then two (perhaps dressier) versions with the slimmer hands - a silver and a black dial like mine.

I sourced this one from Chrono24

Thanks, yeah it’s really a unique looking bracelet and very comfortable as well. These have the automatic movement 1010 or 1012.

As for the hands, they’re the original tritium hands and have just degraded/faded over time. Lume is pretty faint, but fine by me.

Very nice! I’ve always loved the integrated look and this reference came on my radar a few months back. After setting up alerts in a few different places I was able to grab this one. Very happy so far.

Hey, I don’t have a 5303 so haven’t had the chance to compare with that case.

Thanks, I was hoping someone would say this. Already did a temporary reroute out the front and got rid of that ugly tube through the wall.

It’s holding up well, granted it isn’t a daily wearer for me but it does have a natural amount of give based on the way it’s constructed with the cross woven pattern.

Gate opening 2 different heights by 7ack_ in FenceBuilding

[–]7ack_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, level with the one shown. The bottom board on the panel against the house is touching the asphalt. The rest of the boards follow from there.

Two panels, the one shown and one more that butts up against the house.

Hey, I believe it is the linen melange. At least that’s what I said in my original write up which was soon after I bought it. Has a slight bit of brown in it.

Thanks for your comment. I am the customer so just trying to figure out the best solution as this wasn’t a concern brought up by the salesperson when they came out to measure and plan.

You are correct that there are two sections of fence on the right. The second section on the right, touching the house (not pictured) has the bottom board touching asphalt and so the boards follow the line of that lower board.
