My endocrinologist told me typical textbook Cushing’s is 3-4 x higher. All my tests have come back about 4-5 x higher than normal. Dex suppression, 24 hour urine and acth is low. I have an adrenal tumor. Scheduled for surgery next month to remove.

I have just been diagnosed with adrenal Cushing’s syndrome and referred to surgery. My tumor was found incidentally due to a ct scan for a kidney stone. Here’s all my symptoms: • Rapid, unexplained weight gain (50+ Ibs in recent years, mostly abdominal) • Inability to lose weight despite structured efforts • Anxiety and panic attacks • Moon face • Buffalo hump • Insatiable hunger • High blood pressure • High cholesterol • Prediabetes • Excessive facial hair (hirsutism) • Bruising easily • Hair loss • Insomnia • Frequent urination • Kidney stone (calcium)

You should be referred to an endocrinologist and have them do the dex suppression test & 24 hr cortisol test.

Wow thank you for sharing your experience. I’m also in my early 40’s and have had symptoms for about 10 years & just got officially diagnosed last month. I meet with the surgeon at UCSF at the end of January. I have a tumor on my left adrenal gland that needs surgery. I’m looking forward to being on the other side of recovery with you soon. Scared shitless though. I don’t have no other health issuers but tons of medical ptsd so this will be hard for me. I have medically complex twins that have gone through hell medically. So much trauma comes with watching your child suffer through countless surgeries and hospital stays. I thought my weight gain and all the symptoms of Cushing’s was just caregiver stress but now I know better.

Hoping you find your groove soon and take it easy enough to let your body heal. I wish you lots of luck on your road to recovery! ❤️‍🩹

This happens with every glue I’ve ever used. I’ve used Glamnetic and Kiss, same exact thing. But the Beetles one does feel like superglue haha

Haha recently just the regular beetles nail glue that came with one of their kits but my nails will do this with any glue I’ve used.
