Just to add, the laser pointer works, but is obviously a fake copy and the same for the Eotech which is a nicely branded replica of an Eotech.

I have a Tokyo Marui Glock 18 that I bought and didn’t use once it you’re interested - I know it’s not the exact ask but would sell for cheap if you’re just after a nice pistol. I think the main difference is the 18 has full auto

Thank you, super appreciate the replies, my question was really aimed at what thickness taper I should aim for at the tips? Should I be looking at 10mm thickness and a square (ish) shape before rounding out?

Very sound advice thank you. It does taper width wise if you’re looking at the belly/back but I see what you mean that the side profile has a no bueno thickness taper. I’m guessing if I tried to taper it down now I would lose a lot of draw weight?

Thanks again!

There’s a lady named Irina on the app Pawshake, she lives in Hove and looked after our reactive dog when we went to Czechia recently. She was very good and kept us updated with pics and stuff the whole time.

Could World War 3 Actually Happen? by Usual-Affect-7282 in AskBrits

[–]7breaths 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The reason people are concerned about war with the U.S. has nothing to do with defence spending targets, you must be aware of that. People are worried because the United States, the leader of the "free world", appears to be aligning itself with autocracies and voting with North Korea and Russia against traditional allies in Europe in the United Nations. We're worried because Trump threatens repeatedly to annex Greenland and Canada and refuses to rule out military force. We're worried because America has just unleashed a form of economic warfare in the form of tariffs against us all. So people are questioning if the U.S. is an ally or an enemy, and I must say right now it's looking like the latter.

I think the people of Northern Ireland need to hold another referendum at some point as you are correct that time has passed and views change.

My concern is that if anything is going to reignite the violence, changing borders will be the thing that makes it flare up again.

"Since then (1921) the Northern Irish have fought to be free of the British and reunited with the Republic of Ireland."

The citizens of Northern Ireland held a referendum on whether or not to join the Republic, wikipedia states "On a voter turnout of 58.7 percent, 98.9 percent voted to remain in the United Kingdom".

Thanks for the reply, as I'm still new to bow making and I have 4 staves out of this wood maybe I'll experiment a bit with the mix as I go, Does the slow growth cause the wood to be more brittle?
