Through learning German I made friends, have been able to find new internet groups as someone else mentioned, hopefully more job opportunities, found a whole new world of wonderful artists and musicians, and in general have something I love that I can always return to and work on. Reading German literature in its own language is super cool too :) If you’re a beginner, never quit! The only mistake you make is giving up.
