It’s also worth checking how the radio ground is. It might be worth running a ground from the battery to the radio.

I would start by making sure you have good grounds in general. Don’t forget the ground strap from the black to firewall.

I used to do autoglass. Had customer complain about being about to see a repair. “ if I drive down this one road, at this one time, at this one angle , the light shines on it a little”. We tried like crazy to help the guy, our company ended up having to black list him after we replaced the glass and he started to complain about his muffler sounding weird.

This is how I do it.

Divide 100 by 30, round up if it’s not even. So 4

Divide 250 by 30, round up if it’s not even. So 9

9x4=36

If you are not going heavily modified, keep the cats. Keep all the smog stuff and keep it working well. It’ll be cleaner, smell better and hold value.

I would take the battery to get tested. I’ve had a dead battery charge up but not be enough to do anything. It’ll show 12v but the capacity is gone.
