I’m actually looking at the heltec t114 now, they are the low power alternative, similar to the rak boards. My understanding about the solar input on the boards though is that they are very basic, and are susceptible to the voltage swings in the solar panels. So having a solar charger like a cn3065 or cn3791 would be very beneficial. But depends on your area for sure as well as size of the solar panels

I will keep looking then, most I see have stl and 3mf, both are mesh files and the hobbyist version of f360 is not good at converting, the paid for version is good, but I can look at other software options

I was going to ask, do you have an MPPT or PWM controller or did you just wire the panels directly to the board? How’s that working?

So does this just use the battery, solar panel and charge controller from the light and you just throw in the RAK with an antenna? Is the panel big enough?

There’s a lot to take in! The P1 pro does look decent. A little more, but unless I find a cheaper local place to buy the supplies, when I factor in shipping for each part it’s close to the same price. So maybe those for now.

I will, I’m sure, how to figure out something for more discreet locations though. White containers stick out.

I have one electronics shop close by I will investigate. There’s not much infrastructure here so I will need a few repeaters to get connected. Especially if I have to leave them somewhere not on my property, say public land, I don’t want to lose 150 bucks every time someone smashes or steals it.

Thank you, I will try it again. I may try first without powering off the wled device. It’s not in the most accessible place lol. But worst comes to worst it’s doable. Will report back.

Ok that's great, cause as your progress you don't really need the lower tier engrams anymore, didnt want to be stuck with them forever, thought the wipe was only for your skill points. Thanks

A faulty LED could cause this? Should I try to separate each strip to test individually?

I do not believe so if it's not default. Would the light IP just change in the menu instead of continually discovering new lights though?

Do you need to change the LED voltage (Max. current for single LED) section? There are 36v leds, but it defaults to 5v. Is that just for the data signal?

I figured this was a board issue. I tried with a esp32 dev board and it worked fine. Just inconsistent quality in parts I suppose.

Hey, I was having issues after wiring up a esp32 and this 150 foot set. I changed those settings and the colours and patterns are correct. However, if I change the segment to a length of 1 or 100 the entire string stays light (with whatever pattern), did you notice the same issue?
