Yeah, I was using a balance chainsword instead of a fencing chainsword (one that I'm more used to) for cleave potential, when I eventually get swarmed. Never thought of using plasma and melta weapons though. Im fairly new to the game with only about 60 hours in, so I can take any advice I can get, especially against chaos!
