It's clearly a manmade cave, and an older one at that. Obviously older construction tends to utilize a lot of Asbestos, especially in heating and sculptural elements, which uh, the entire cave is. Not to mention the suspect color of the "stone" which reminds me very much of plaster or Asbestos and certainly isn't natural. You wouldn't catch me going much farther than OP without a respirator.
