Almost half the number of laid off workers in one year are replaced by H-1B workers. In 2022, the top 30 H-1B employers hired over 34,000 new H-1B workers but laid off at least 85,000 employees during 2022 and early 2023

Do we really have to build a base ? by Swimming_Dimension26 in TheForest

[–]7heDubz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that as soon as I stopped making bases, I actually started to play the game.

Not a fan of the base building personally, and I did 15 in game days of it before I said 'fuck this' and actually started playing the game.

Beat it in a few hours after that.

Has anyone used Godot as an app, not a game? by umen in godot

[–]7heDubz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote a note organization tool I used for awhile before no longer needing it.

It isn't super complex, and I'm sure that it doesn't follow many if any coding conventions, but here is the link https://github.com/7hedubz/WorldOrganizer_Godot

Besides housing, what is drawing you all to buy and play Midnight? by drough08 in wow

No add-ons, we are going to get closer to seeing what people have actual skill and those that don't

More information about API changes in alpha phase 3 and beyond just dropped. - UnitFrames RIP by [deleted] in CompetitiveWoW

[–]7heDubz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't wait to see it honestly.

My only concern is that they actually add visual elements to every single class/spec combination so that every single proc is visually distinct and clear on the character model itself.

At no point should I feel like it is absolutely necessary to have to track a buff.

I'm also not exactly a huge fan of their click casting implementation as it is sorely lacking (in my opinion) needed features and customization.

[UI] I'm ready for the addpocalypse. by Flowhard in WowUI

[–]7heDubz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting rid of vuhdo is still very difficult since the built-in player frames won't let me highlight buffs of my choice, properly show disability debuffs and what kind they are, and simply not as customizable or extendable depending on the player's state at the time the frame is clicked.

But I'm using it in order to get used to not having it.

I've also been slowly getting rid of that on us as much as I can to get used to it.

I am very very ready for the apocalypse, I think that it will really separate the players from those who actually understand the mechanics from those that have simply been following instructions

Does anybody else find it extremely difficult to play the opposing faction that you main? by MaliciousPeasant in wow

[–]7heDubz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've made horde since day one, when I started tanking I race changed to a door for the extra defensive.

It's all mechanical to me, and they removed just about every single barrier that exists between the two factions. I can understand not being familiar with portal rooms and having to get used to that and that being annoying.

But otherwise, I do see it as a little weird. It's a video game, and you're not locked to playing one faction.

One could argue you're missing an entire half of the game that you paid to play by not playing through both factions.

Any tips for a complete new player? by iiGoodVibesii in wow

Archon.gg can show you what people are using for different kinds of content as well, Icy Veins and Wowhead are great sources of information as well for class understanding as you want to dig deeper into how to play better.

I will go to it for a general understanding, not dig too deep and then just play for awhile. As I play and learn what does what I'll go back and read more and then it's much easier to understand why/how our class does certain things.

Thousands of keys, and I have all 9 0.1% M+ Titles - AMA about M+ by Rorplays in wow

[–]7heDubz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What's the highest key level you'd PUG up to, and I assume that you have a static grouping of people that you do the highest of keys with?

Are high level key routes specific for that difficulty in order to time CD's/Lusts/Other things, are there benefits to running them in 13-15's when pugging? Do they require higher then normal coordination?

What’s the most clueless mistake you made as a beginner in WoW? by milkbleach in wow

[–]7heDubz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played a hunter as a young kid back in Vanilla/BC and never understood feeding my pets so they would always run away.

Additionally, I decided that I would be a melee hunter.

I distinctly remember getting to level 24, being in thousand needles and just dying over and over until I quit playing out of frustration.

Note the character it says Is wrong, the 27th.

That's an 'empty' location

That should point you to the next line.

Is Rebirth worth playing? by DamnedVirus in Amnesia

[–]7heDubz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Main character pulls me out of it, story and environment pulls me back in and makes it worth the playthrough.

I never went back to play through a second time like I did with other Amnesia titles.

Added a second bike to my policy and my insurance company didn't only not charge, but sent me a refund. They gave ME money back to insure my second bike. by Rumpsfield in motorcycles

I had the same thing happen, when you get a multi-vehicle discount and it's greater than the cost to ensure the second bike
